Dr. Macedo is a lovely person, kind and with a professional bearing. That said, in assessing my eyes, she got my prescription wrong; in fact, her Rx was extremely far off. I subsequently saw another ophthalmologist who was able to correct these errors. However, the process was time-consuming and could have been expensive. No doubt with more experience, Dr. Macedo will develop into a fine physician.

Dr. Macedo is fabulous and very smart but the practice in which she is located is characterized by excessively long waits always. Patients time is of no consequence to the staff. And I have requested a written copy of my prescription unsuccessfully and repeatedly for a month.

"I had an appointment with Dr. Aisha Macedo at an ophthalmologist clinic in Silver Spring, but unfortunately, my experience with her was the worst I've ever had with a doctor. Instead of focusing on my well-being, she seemed more interested in making money. Her rude demeanor and lack of interest in listening to my concerns made it clear that she was not a competent or caring physician. I also felt discriminated against myself because of my culture as a Latin patient. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this clinic.
