I saw Dr Leach who was the most thorough of all optometrists in my 25+ years of getting annual eye exams with a heavy script and astigmatism, taking consideration of my concerns that were formerly overlooked by franchise outfits. The retail store has choice luxury eyewear with excellent staff on hand to guide the most appropriate selection. I will be going back.

I have a new appreciation for Forefront Eye Care after experiencing a major floater situation in my left eye. I was squeezed in that same day by Dr. Emily Leach and then again four-weeks later for a followup. I so appreciated her prompt attention to me to assess the seriousness and health of my eyes. Dr. Leach is very personable, knowledgeable, professional, and has a wonderful calming presence. All of the staff that I interacted with were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The office is located in convenient location and is cheerful, modern and clean. I highly recommend Forefront.

You will be given unauthorized tests make you sign without explanation for charges and what is the test. They also charge for eyes exam separately $175. Even you are cautious and ask for the cost they will dodge the questions. If you asked them to show the bill they will not. They will only show the bill after the payment. Very shady business and expect to pay out of your pocket even though you have insurance cover. Contact lenses exam were told by their staff its free and cover by my insurance, which isn't. I only requested two test, eye exam and contact lenses, it's would cost me $450 if I don't have insurance. Beware if you don't have optical insurance cover. There will be hefty amount to pay just for their TESTS without making glasses or contact lenses with them.

Best eye place in Boston!! If you need your eyes checked for any reason, I highly recommend Forefront Eye Care. Beautiful location near Chinatown and easy access for anyone using public transportation (like me). And everyone is SUPER friendly!! Love this place. Now go get your eyes checked! ;)
