This is a scam healthcare center. They also ordered contacts without my consent and charged me for it. I never wore nor do I wear contacts now. While looking at the reviews, I see it is not just me. They also refused to provide a receipt for the glasses I ordered. I recommend everyone continue to report them to 1) government officials such as the attorney general, 2) the optometry board for malpractice, and 3) their health/vision insurance. I'm not seeing this is an ongoing scam and so with more reports, action will occur.

I hate to write a bad review but need to share my experience - I had 2 errors in my perscription written by the doctor which caused issues with ordering contacts (wrong year for expiration date) and incorrect astigmatism correction in my left eye on my glasses (wrong axis was written on the perscription). After paying for the exam, then paying for glasses that aren't correct - I'm out a decent amount of money.

The best optometrist! I love how he remembers me, my family and past conversations. In addition, I'm always getting extra tips for how to care for my eyes which no other eye doctor has ever shared with me in the past. Prices are fair and they go above and beyond every time I have an appointment. For example, once I told them I was traveling and they gave me free daily contacts for the plane without me asking.

I have never felt more supported by an eye doctor than at this office. Personalized care and endless willingness to make sure you can see perfectly. I have gone through multiple different contact sample sets to find the right ones and they have gone above and beyond to help me find the perfect fit. I also ordered glasses here and they are great! Thanks to Dr. Kalish and Hannah for your continued commitment to providing excellent care for our community!

I have strange and mixed experiences with them and to be honest I'm not sure how I should rate it. My initial eye exam was fantastic, it was very fast, they have the fancy machines which only takes 2 sec to get my prescription, and both the doctor and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Based on this experience I also recommended them to others. But when I came back trying to get my pupil distance, it wasn't as smooth as I was expecting. Took me 1 stop-by, few phone calls (with one hung-up, before I was on the same page that they do have my number), and several voice-raising conversations to finally got it straight. They explained that they can't give PD out for liability reasons unless I bring in the frame. The doctor also chipped in to help with the conversation at one point, and mentioned that due to my complications, he was pretty sure 90% of the places won't be able to get it right. So 90% of the lens brand manufacturers they procure from don't know what they are doing? Not to mention statically, if 90% of people can't make it right, then there's 90% of chance anyone would fall under that category, including themselves, right? I understand the liability concerns, but the entire interaction also felt a bit strange to me. Then I found there's actually a huge debate about PD among ECPs, and that despite being a Class 1 Medical Device and therefore considered medical records and must be made available to the patient on demand, it's very ambiguous what a consumer is rightfully entitled to in their eyeglass record in the current era. Oh and just FYI, Massachusetts Law does require PD provided to the patients as part of the prescription.

Don't go there! The service was very unprofessional. The owner Hanna ordered a pair of glasses that were completely off and basically useless. She offered to order another pair that were a little better but still useless for near and far vision. Without any effort to figure out the reason that the new glasses were not working and how to make a useable pair of glasses. She ordered another pair that wasn't any better. After three attempt with no improvement in the glasses performance it was clear that it goes nowhere. Asking her to stop the process after wasting six week resulted in her unwillingness to return the deposit and her threatening that "she has her ways to deal with people like me". I found them incapable to do the job and very unprofessional in the way it was handled. Went to another store and within a week got a perfect eyeglass in one attempt.

Great and fast service. No wait time and friendly staff! Just be aware that if you have Harvard pilgrim insurance, they are not doing the free glasses on first eye exam thing here (most you can get is 75 off the lens).

Fast and easy eye exam. Doctor really knew what he was doing
