I saw Dr Arroyo for sudden eye problems, which turned out to be a burst blood vessel in the retina of my right eye. I was pleased to see him within 24 hours of my call. Everyone at the Brookline office was great. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I was made comfortable at all times. I received the bad in a very caring and supportive way. If you need care for wet AMD, Dr Arroyo and his team are outstanding.

I hold Dr. Arroyo in the highest regard. I was driving my wife to an eye appointment at Boston Vision, and five minutes before arriving I had what looked like a long black snake appear in my right eye -- very scary. Upon arriving I immediately went to the front desk and was told I was fortunate - a retina specialist, Dr. Arroyo, was there today and could take a look. He is a kind, straightforward expert in his field - he took a look in my eye and told me i had PVD which produced a small tear in my retina. He operated within 20 minutes and did a fantastic job. I am on the fast track to recovery of my full eyesight, thanks to Dr. Arroyo. I wouldn't trust my vision to anyone else and recommend him to everyone!

Jorge G. Arroyo, MD, MPH received his undergraduate degree at Amherst College, medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Duke University Eye Center. After 25 years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical School/Harvard Medical School, Dr. Arroyo has joined the rapidly growing eye care practice at Boston Vision. Dr. Arroyo is board certified by the American Academic of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Retina Society, Macula Society, American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academic of Ophthalmology.
