I've been to several Visionworks locations and Danvers exceeds every single one. For me the heart and soul is the most skilled, kind, and supportive employee, Patty!!! I had to exchange my glasses for remakes like 4 times (nothing she or Visionworks did) and she was so patient. Patty focuses on each customer/patient fully as if you're the only one in the store. She goes over all your insurance nuances and helps you pick best options. She's also very honest when you're asking for advice on what looks good. Thanks to her I exchanged a pair from another location that didn't look good and she helped me pick out a pair that fit my personal style so much better. I get tons of compliments on these gorgeous Longchamp glasses so much I bought a pair of sunglasses there by the same brand. I also appreciate how good she is at custom fitting glasses. Patty, if you read this thank you so much for all your support!!!! The other employees are equally as kind. The optometrist, Nimira Sami I saw was incredible too. I needed my prescription reviewed and she too was very patient, skilled and gave me a great education on how to get used to progressives (along with Patty). Thanks you, Danvers Visionworks!!! Your location is superior to the four others I've been to. Thank you so much!

I went in not knowing exactly what to expect, given I was unable to enter my vision insurance in the online store. However, when I got there, I was amazed to find it covered everything (despite the website also saying it only covered certain frames). I had an issue with my insurance as well, and my associate was very helpful in resolving it with VSP's customer service. The selection was great, too - I found several glasses I liked, and I am fairly picky. My trip to the store was absolutely worthwhile.

Liz Canning was so accommodating on my last visit to Visionworks. My MIL had fallen and broke her frames and Liz was able to find a donated pair of glasses that was close to the original script for her to use while they were being repaired. I appreciate the extra effort that she put forth for me that day. If not my MIL would have been without glasses for 2 weeks! Thank you so much Liz!

I love this location. Extremely helpful and attentive doctors for eye exams, they listen and pay attention to everything. Staff is more like family and friends than employees. Everyone there is so kind. So helpful and makes going to eye exams enjoyable.

This is my go-to place for glasses! The staff is friendly & the doctor was so sweet & knowledgable. I was in and out efficiently & was taken in almost immediately without having to wait at all. Thanks!

I would give zero stars, but it is not available. The person at the counter was very rude. They canceled one of us without notifying us. When asked about when snd why the appointment was canceled. She then started to complain about the lack of employees in front of all the customers and when she was told that this was not our problem she stated loudly, "I know that that you don't care so that's why I am leaving." Then she stormed to the back and stormed out of the building complaining the whole time. I am shocked you would have such rude customer service people. Note to owner: You need to provide training to your customer service personnel and if there are problems finding enough employees then solve the problem so that customers don't get into the cross fire of your own internal problems.

Deceptive practices and upcharges. Not recommended. Be sure you get a clear invoice upfront of what total charges will be after insurance, before you let them do an exam or provide a service. Our insurance covers the exam completely and has no copay, they confirmed it is in network, yet they charged us a fee and a copay for a vision exam only.

Called FIVE (5) times to reschedule an appointment on 12/15/25. On ONE of my FIVE calls someone answered and didn't give me a chance to move my tongue to get one word out before hanging up on me. So I don't have time to sit here and call all day long so figured I'd let you know here. My appointment was at 10:00am if you are interested. I've tried using the online chat and AI assistant it it "cant find my appointment" They are pretty unprofessional at this location for the most part so really not surprised.
