Went for an annual eye exam that's covered by my insurance provider. Dr. Foner performed an optomap rentinal scan without letting me know that it costs $30 out of pocket. I was only made aware of this charge on the way out. Note that none of the patient intake forms I filled before the visit notified me that this is an optional procedure. A good optometrist should be able to check the retina anyways without optomap as a part of the exam.

I have been going to Dr. Foner for a few years now and I can say that he is by far the best doctor that I have come across. He really cares for his patients and their individual needs. By that I mean, he takes his time with you and explains everything in great detail. He answers all your questions so you leave with clarity and confidence. Unlike other doctors, who mostly seem to rush you because its about the number, you will never feel that way with Dr. Foner. There isn't any long waiting time when you reach for your appointment time, you get called almost right away, which shows that Dr. Foner's office values your time. I am so happy to have found Dr. Foner and I highly recommend him. I can trust him fully to provide great care for myself and my family.

I called and left a message about wanting to get my glasses fixed because they were scratched and still under warranty. Funny that I never received a call back ever, and now the warranty is expired. This isn't the first time this office has messed up with contact or lens orders for my husband and I. We will be taking out business elsewhere, and you should too.

Insurance fraud!! I discovered when trying to order contacts that this doctors office made a claim and collected money from our insurance 3 months ago and never bothered to tell us. When confronted, they acknowledged they collected money and never told us about it, and never provided us contacts. You could say it was a mistake or that they thought we would order from them, but they should have attempted to contact us once in the last 3 months. I've reported them to our insurance company for fraud and they agree about it being fraudulent and are escalating the complaint. Be aware!

Dr. Marc A Foner's staff Karen is not returning my wife's favourite eye glass frame and ignoring our phone calls. Update : Karen has returned my wife's eye glass after this post on Google.

It was a good experience but they never sent me my prescription so I can get my eye glasses. I was lied to that I would receive it by email, it never happened, ended up going somewhere else for another eye exam. I don't recommend this place unless you plan to get your eye glasses from them otherwise they wouldn't give out your prescription.

Dr. Foner is very knowledgeable and is awesome with kids. His staff is very nice and friendly too. My daughter who is extremely shy was very happy communicating with him as he has a way with kids. I highly recommend this place.

the staff that work with Dr. Foner are superior in terms of customer service and reliability. I am very pleased and will be loyal to them forever!
