Very bad and rude attitude. One star because no zero.
I ordered two diff contact lens here, soft ones arrived firstly. And after learning to wear them, I found the date on lens box was expired! I started to be worried about their quality of products.
Then we were waiting for the 2nd ones. That is a newly made lens and it cannot be expired again. They said it would take more time and might be arriving during my trip. That's why I had several phone calls with them before my trip (let the lady know when I left and came back).
She promised to text/email me once my lens arrived in case I missed her calling. She said at that time, she would help me to make an appointment with doctor to learn how to wear them.
After 1.5 month waiting, I can't wait any more and call back to check status. They told me they didn't order this lens for me.
And denied anything they said. Denied the several calls we had. Denied they promised to inform me once lens arrived. Even denied they ordered it. So in a words, they did nothing about this order.
Bad attitude. Only said apology after I strongly asked. So disappointed with this store, I did loved and believed their high review scores, also trusted what they said. Now I can't trust them any more and am glad that they didn't make this order. Otherwise, I have to visit store many time to adjust the new contact lens with all these worries and upsets.

I am genuinely perplexed by the numerous positive reviews and recommendations for this doctor, as my experience was quite different. I took my eight-year-old daughter for her first eye exam, and I was taken aback by the doctor's impatience and inattentiveness towards my anxious child, despite my efforts to communicate her discomfort.
When my daughter expressed anxiety about the puffing machine, the doctor seemed annoyed and dismissed her concerns, failing to provide the reassurance she needed. The entire examination felt rushed and did not accommodate the extra care that children often require during such appointments. Although my daughter received a prescription for glasses, I am genuinely concerned about its accuracy, given the hurried nature of the exam and the fact that she is new to this process. An experienced doctor should recognize the importance of taking time with a child during their first eye exam.
Overall, I found the doctor's behavior particularly troubling, especially considering that this was my daughter's initial experience with an eye exam and she has never worn glasses before.
I have been seeing Dr. Shriber since 2001 and have difficulty trusting anyone else with my eyes. He has cared for my eyes through my adolescent, teenage, and early adult years, ensuring they stay healthy and that I am as informed as possible. I could not recommend an establishment more! Thank you Dr. Shriber!
Love that the business is family run and love the dog. However, the receptionist is atrocious. She was extremely rude when I was checking in a couple years back and I let the doctor know and he apologized on her behalf so I decided to give them another try. 2-years later, she is still rude, unpleasant and just sour. Why have a receptionist like that represent your business? Since I had been looking for a while I thought I found my forever optometrist but that receptionist has ruined it for me and I'll be moving on. I appreciated and am thankful to Dr. Shrieber and his brother and doggo for serving me well these last 4 years though!
Dr. Shriber at Gordon Eye Associates is extremely thorough and professional, as well as easy to talk to. I've been getting my annual eye exam from him for many years, and when I realized my son needed glasses, I started bringing him there as well. I highly recommend Gordon Eye Associates!
Yale is timely, thoughtful, considerate. He patiently, and in easy to understand language, explains everything as he is doing it. Both Yale and the front desk person are very nice friendly folks.
I've been a patient here since I was about 7 years old ( so over 20 years) and I will continue to bring them my business as their patient. Everyone is very nice, prompt, and professional.
I had my eye exam with Dr. Shriber, he is very friendly and professional, highly recommended
