I have consistently experienced subpar service at this office, particularly with a specific customer service agent in the glasses section. Despite my efforts to resolve issues with my prescriptions over the past two years, the agent has displayed a dismissive attitude and claimed to have called me when she had not. When I addressed the issue, she became defensive and spoke to me in a condescending manner. The agent's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. I called later to get her name to write to the company I was left onhold for 10 minutes. When the receptionist finally returned ahe only said "the manager would be in the office tomorrow @ 8:40am"; however, I was not provided with the employee's name or the manager's contact information. I have never been treated so disrespectfully which made me so frustrated that I swore at her. I was completely wrong in my behavior but after 2 years of the abuse from this woman made me loose my composure. Long story short, I would advise others to avoid this office due to the poor service.

It was my first time here, and the experience... Do you really expect somebody to put their face on that!?!! Didn't even sanitize anything. You definitely know you are downtown New Bedford. The doctor who did my exam sanitized the equipment. The staff member who initially brought me into the room didn't even think to sanitize anything. To the staff member, if you wouldn't put your own face on that, why do you expect me to!? Some of the staff members need to brush up on their friendliness and sanitization standards!!!

I would like to sincerely "Thank" Dr Alyse Johann Richard for taking great care of both my eyes. I had very successful left and right eye cataract surgery within a week apart. Dr Richard, her staff and the surgery center team were all exceptional. They care, support and attention to me made me feel like a VIP. They provided me with superior clinical and surgical outcomes. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!!

Last week I had an amazing experience with the entire staff. They treated me with such care and respect from start to finish. I suffer from an eye condition and they were so helpful when I felt helpless with my situation. I won't be going anywhere else for my vision problems: HIGHLY recommend.

Their front Dest is Absolutely trash! Took over an hour off work drove back from Boston for my appointment. gave them a call to what time I was gonna be there I was told as long as I get there by said time I would be all set. Spend the next 10 min waiting on them to check me in just for them to tell me that they gonna have to reScheduel me because I'm late?!

Do not go here! They dont know what they are doing. They dont know what insurance they take and will lie to you to get you in the door. Then blame you for taking their word for it. Then they will force you the make multiple appointments you dont need or want. The receptionist can not do basic math or how to do her job, so make sure you know how to do her job before speaking to her. If you order contacts, make sure you know they force you to make a appointment to watch you put them in before they will give them to you. These people would not be in business if they were not a franchise. Horrible service and experience, save yourself the time, money and stress. Go elsewhere
