I don't know why there are some negative reviews posted but I want to add that I had a WONDERFUL experience with my cataract surgery. The pre-planning and appointments went as scheduled; ALL of the staff were courteous and professional; and the results of my surgery have been as predicted. I wouldn't hesitate to return to or recommend Associated Eye Surgeons.

Shameful. Don't take your children here. Dr. Townsend was downright rude and unhelpful. I brought in my daughters because I could not get them an appointment anywhere else. She said she couldn't help them? Because we were formerly Children's Hospital patients. She rudely told me she was going to stop taking Children's patients. How unprofessional can you get?! Such bizarre behavior from a medical "professional". I've never experienced this type of incompetence before. The staff was actually very nice to me. I won't be going back. The lack of professionalism here is scary.

Dr. Kenny is great! She was straight forward and answered all my questions. I had a retina tear 6 years ago and my eyes often change script. Dr. Kenny has reassured me! She reviewed my retina pictures with me in detail and let me know when I may be considered a good candidate for lasic eye surgery. A plus is that I only spent about 4 minutes in the waiting room. 10/10

The staff is rude and I felt like my eye exam was rushed, my new prescription was not working for me. A re-visit meant another charge. If you have to reach the billing dept be prepared to leave vm's and not get a callback.

The staff is absolutely rude. I will not be coming back. I walked in and the lady at the front desk asked for my name and then looked at the lady behind her and laughed because I had called previous to the time of my appointment which was at 8 but she failed to mention that they open at 8 which would make me late for the appointment anyway. I've been a patient here for over 10 years and never had a problem until recently. I don't know if they had a change in staff but they need better customer service.

I Love Dr. Townsend, she is a smart, educated and a very nice physician. The problem with this office is her "gate keepers". I received a call from Joanne about my prescription and she never let me get a word in edge wise. She was condescending and told me to call another MD that I had seen once for resolution. Unacceptable! Sorry Dr. Townsend, you would have received 5 stars but your staff needs to learn how to speak and LISTEN to your patients.

I have never experienced a more rude medical staff in my life. If you can go somewhere else, please do. Not one employee smiled or greeted anyone. It was a very odd and unpleasant experience.

Doesn t ever Dr ask for your insurance card or ask if it has changed before the visit? My insurance changed and we went to my sons appt. He has been going here for 13 years. All of a sudden I get a bill for one 30 minute visit for $350.00!!! Are you kidding me? Would have been 5 stars from past experience if it wasn't for the rudeness of the staff!!! So good luck
