OCB Plymouth Eye Center

Dr. Resnik is my ophthalmologist, and I truly can't say enough good things about her. She is incredibly kind, patient, and passionate about her work. I've been dealing with ongoing eye issues for years and have seen multiple specialists -- even traveling into the city to consult with doctors who are considered "the best of the best." Out of all of them, Dr. Resnik is the only one who has consistently taken the time to truly listen, never rush an appointment, and genuinely try to help me. While we're still working through the complexity of my condition, I have never once felt dismissed or overlooked. That alone means more than I can express. Feeling heard and cared for has restored my faith that there are still doctors who lead with both skill and compassion. Her entire team is wonderful, and the facility is nice and very convenient. I highly recommend Dr. Resnik to anyone looking for exceptional and compassionate care.

My experiences with the team at OCB have always been excellent. They are all very kind and very thorough. When I have had an appointment, I have never had to wait. They call me in shortly after check-in, no issues. An amazing team.

My father in law had eye surgery today at this facility. He is 76 years old and recently lost his wife. He only has my husband to help him with his appointments for transportation as his eye sight is terrible and CANNOT DRIVE, hence why he is having surgery on his eyes. My father in law asked the nurse to sign FLMA paperwork for my husband for his work, just to have because he will have to take time off to bring my father in law to his follow up eye appointments. One of the nurses had the NERVE to tell my father in law that my husband was taking advantage the system and they would not sign the paperwork, my father in law had to defend my husband saying that his son is his only way he can get to any surgeries and follow up appointments as he cannot drive himself. This is so unprofessional and to accuse someone you don't even know of "taking advantage of the system." My husband is a hard working man who is now taking care of his widowed father who is unable to drive due to his eye sight. Due to that comment and how unprofessional it was, stay far away from this place. They have no problem making an older patient feel embarrassed for their condition and making accusations against someone they don't even know.

Been there 3 times, always 2-3.5 hours long, sometimes longer, Take forever. Better doctors & places around. Would give 0 stars.

I had my cataracts fixed almost 2 years ago w/Dr. O'Connor. It could not have been a better experience. My optometrist just noticed a tear in my retina 3 days ago. They saw me in 2 days for a consult and I had surgery today. Dr. Englander noticed in yesterday's appt, that my left eye (not the one the optometrist identified) was worse (almost a detached retina). She fixed that today and I'm going back next week for the repair on the right eye. Diligent, focused, professional and polite are all understatements. I have nothing buy praise for this office and don't understand all the negative critique!

I loved Eye Health office in Pembroke but since OCB took over the practice things have gone downhill. I needed to reschedule an appt in December 2024 and was told they are booking out into March 2026. Clearly they don't have adequate staffing. I am headed to a different practice.

This is the worse eye doctor ever. I wish I could give them a huge negative review. I have been going to them for years and they were never good and always rude! Now a little over a month again I called because I got a notice about in the mail of reschedule my appointment but it was to a day I couldn't do. So I called them the lady on the phone Brandi was not helpful at all and she put her manager on the phone who said there is no one there who does appointments for what is needed to be done for getting new contacts. Like what your an eye doctor. That's a lie! My mom went there not long before I called and they did it and she still has an appointment set for it. The manager refused to give me her name. She started screaming at me and told me to stop screaming at her which I was not I was nice, I was definitely more nice and professional than she was. She said she would cancel the appointment after I said nicely I was done with this company. Now today I get a text for an appointment on Monday, so clearly the manager who refused to ever give me her name lied. This is a horrible company and almost everyone that works here has alwyas been unpleasant rude, dumb and lazy and now it's completely horrible. And now I was on hold for an hour to cancel it and no one answered. Shame on all of you, do better!!!!

Extremely rushed visit with Dr. Hu, I felt like I was in a fast food restaurant. Very delicate procedure to replace IOL and the patient is only given one choice J&J ( I wonder why...$) canceled follow up appt right away as it would be charged again as a different appt. and sought care elsewhere with a professional that understands how serious this procedure is from the patient point of view. Another example of all that is wrong with our healthcare system, focused on the almighty dollar and NOT on the patient well being..
