My friend saw Dr Englander for an injection in her eye today. She was told to call if she experienced pain. She called once and was told to apply a cold compress. She's been in pain all day. I have called 3 times and plan to call the office every 30 minutes. The answering service says they are paging Dr Englander but she has not returned our calls. She may be a good doctor but refusing to call back a patient in pain does not seem like appropriate care from a doctor. In fact, it seems uncaring and callous.

Went yesterday to see Dr Englander for my ongoing retina problem. I can't say enough about her caring expertise. I've been to top notch retina specialists in Florida and MA over the years. Dr Englander is my favorite.
I went skipping out after having my injection implant! She has the magic touch, explains procedures, and gets it right. My eye feels great today! No redness or stinging at all.
