Mass Eye and Ear (Stoneham)

In less you have two hours to spend waiting find somewhere else to go. I have been going here for a number of years and today I had an appointment at 11 and there was a sign that read wait time for appointments is two hours. I could not wait due to other appointments. Enjoy the wait if you go there

I was not pleased with Dr. Linderman at all..I needed to go.to the MEEI in Stoneham...I usually go to Boston and see Dr Chen but due to health issues I went to Stoneham.. I was in her office maybe 20 minutes..She never checked my eyes at all and said I didn't need a new prescription for my glasses..I was very disappointed....

The staff here is by far the kindest and most compassionate I have ever encountered. They were patient and provided excellent care. My only concern is as a new patient I should have been told my eyes would be dilated, and what that meant. I was given the drops with no explanation and nothing mentioned. I left the building and learned the hard way how bad light would be, I didnt have sunglasses or a ride prepared nor was I warned at any point I would need them. That said, the way I was treated was so phenomenal I would still recommend it, and will continue to seek care here.

When I called Mass Eye/Ear @ Stoneham, Rebecca, spent at least 15 minutes with me answering several questions I had about a recent eye issue. She was wonderful explaining the next steps that I should take to ensure that my medical issue would be addressed in a timely manner. Even though I have not yet been there, I am looking forward to going to Stoneham because Rebecca was so considerate and helpful. They are lucky to have her!

This morning I had my annual check up at Mass Eye and Ear. I want to preface this review by saying that my eye sight has never been very good. Minus 7 in one eye and minus 5.5 in the other. Nicole was wonderful this morning. She mentioned she recently came over from a Medford office. She did an amazing job of patiently taking me through all of the eye tests which I appreciated!! Never having good eyesight can be frustrating but Nicole probably made this as comfortable and stress free as possible. And Dr Vassan is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and I greatly appreciate being able to see him in the Stoneham office on an annual basis. A couple years ago I had an emergency related to a retina problem and Dr Gong treated me twice to successfully resolve the issue. I can't say enough about the Mass Eye team in Stoneham. We are fortunate to have such a great group of doctors in the area.

I visited Dr Rho multiple times in the Stoneham office and never waited more than 10 minutes total between the waiting room, initial check with a nurse, then ultimately for Dr Rho. They were not only prompt but very professional and friendly. Even though they were efficient with timing I never felt rushed either. I also had good interactions with the staff for check-in and online messages, etc. I had gone for breathing issues with Dr Rho corrected via surgery (my decision based on options he presented) but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him and his team if I needed anything else in the future.

I saw Dr. Peggy Chang. She was very kind, thorough and took her time explaining her findings and what to expect moving forward. An absolute top notch ophthalmologist. Highly recommended!

I've been to a few eye places and I like these folks the best. They are always friendly to me and answer all my questions in a way I can easily understand, addressing all my concerns and explaining the reasons for certain things like why my eyes water when coming in or going outside. Due to the new location, they are still ironing out a few things so when it came to parking (there is plenty of it) some of the old signs that are up confused me but I suspect the next time I go, this will already be addressed and dolled up. The garage does have low clearance so if you have a huge vehicle, find off street parking.
