Forgues Eyecare

Excellent provider (Matthew Forgues) and great staff. Got me in same day and referral process was seamless. Beautiful new facility. I felt very good with the care and the staff.

I should've wrote this review a long time ago. I'll start at the beginning. I have excellent vision, so much so, I've never been to an eye doctor. Two a half years ago I woke up from a dream - someone warned me "look at your eye." I took my right hand and covered my right eye, and my left eye was blurry. More than blurry, the color was off, and there were shadows. I was scared. I called an eye doctor. These fine folks! The staff was kind and accommodating, scheduling an appointment for the next day. The following day they did an hours worth of testing. Then the doctor calmly said, my eye was healthy. There was no bang or slap in the face. There was just the directive to get an MRI. That MRI showed an optic nerve meningioma, it was a lucky prognosis, but it was a big sucker that had to be taken out. Two years later, I'm the same person just a little less tumor, and I went back to the office to have a check up. I was going because I wanted to say thank you, I brought my husband because he needed glasses. Anyway, it was another fantastic experience, for both of us! I can't thank this office, the staff, technicians and the doctors enough! They offer real care, and solid advice. I also learned that your eyes are a window to many ailments- so don't skip a check up just because you don't have failing vision. Thank you! Maggie

I have been a patient of Forgues Eyecare since moving to Worcester five years ago. I was initially impressed by the technology they used to conduct my first eye exam, and they continue to exceed my expectations in this area. The process of the entire exam seems to get easier while also being extensive and precise with each successive visit. My visit today was exceptional in each phase - from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I departed. Through the years, I have been able to work with Dr. Forgues to try new things like multifocal contacts while also feeling comfortable in stating my preferences. I feel very fortunate to be patient of Forgues.

Dr. F is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions at the end of my visit. I never felt rushed. This was my second visit and I'm very happy with my choice to switch from Goswick in Holden to them. The staff was very personable compared to my previous ophthalmologist. Im happy to support this private practice, and highly recommend them.

I have been a patient at Forgues Eye for many years. They are very nice & I'm very comfortable coming here. Today 12-4-24, I went to have my glasses adjusted and to see if someone could see me last minute ( I didn't have an appointment) for a recurring issue: and they got me in pretty quick! It was so nice they did that. I recommend them to anyone!!!

As always, the eye exam that I had at Forgues Eyecare was fantastic! They use the most up-to-date equipment, and do a thorough job of checking every aspect of your eyes. Dr. Forges is very personable, and is great about answering any questions you might have. I recommend them highly.

I have been coming here many years for eye exams. I have never had any issues and I was happy with the exam my daughter was given today. My only concern today was with the receptionist. I didn't realize that we were going to be charged for a contact lens fitting. My daughter received her first pair of contacts last year. I was not informed that we would need to have a fitting every year. But now that I understand, I'm fine with it. However, the receptionist was very matter of fact and condescending in telling us about this. I didn't realize not appreciate the way she spoke to me and left very frustrated.
