Lee C. Newton, OD

Dr. Newton truly and genuinely cares about his patients and is willing to help beyond just office hours. It is not uncommon for him to help people with eye injuries after hours when the ER cant help or larger eye care centers are not open. I strongly recommend him and fully trust him for my entire families eye care needs.

I have been going to Dr. Newton for many years after I received a referral from a friend. I have since referred several other patients to him. I can see better than I have ever been able to going to him and I have quite a complex prescription. He has tested many sample contact for me at no charge until we were able to find just the right fight for sight and comfort. Hes also very good at explaining exactly what is going on with your eyes and any other questions you may have. I would highly recommend him and I will continue to give him great referrals!

Dr Lee took the time to make sure I was getting the best and most comfortable contact lenses. I had the opportunity to test them for a couple of weeks, I went in for another checkup where he introduced to another set to try before making a decision. Dr Lee and his staff are phenomenal! Thank you!

Dr wanted me to trial some very expensive contacts. I still had several pair left from My previous script. When I called few months later he wouldn't release my contact script saying he never finalized my script. I didn't want to use the bifocal lenses. He tried telling me that he can't release it because he doesn't know what lens name to put on my RX. Wants me to pay another 158.90 for another exam after I already paid 200.00 after insurance!! He was creepy and I'd never recommend going here!!

His office is unethical. They claim to do special exams for diabetic patients when they're no different than any other exam then bill insurances for it so they don't get covered. I have seen several eye doctors since being diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Newton did NOTHING different yet I'm stuck with a $200 bill. Don't see this doctor. He will scam you.

Highly recommend Dr. Newton, and office staff, Laurie. Personal, competent, and professional. Dr. Newton addressed my personal difficulty with contacts. He found me the correct brand, and fitment, very pleased.

I saw him a couple years ago. I promised him a review. I lost a lot of sleep over how he and his staff treated me. I would give him negative stars if I could. I would never go back or recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient here for over 5 years, and today I have decided to leave.. unfortunately I do not agree with the billing, I was trying to get information last year in regards to a bill that I received after my services were performed... I was told that it was because of my diabetic exam... Funny thing is during the exam I asked the technician what the difference was and she told me there was no difference it's just a difference in billing... I was billed through my medical insurance which gives me over $100 co-pay ( due to it being a "specialist")whereas if it was just billed as a normal exam which is what I wanted it would've been a $10 co-pay... I was told that Billing was going to look into it they would give me a call back never did I receive a call back I called twice never got a return phone call when I was in yesterday I was told there was no balance so I assumed that everything was taken care of I just got a phone call today saying that there's $150 balance and they have to cancel my appointment if it's not paid by end of business day today... I'm very upset because I never got any return phone calls last year when this was being disputed.. that I was in there yesterday and was told that I have a zero dollar balance now the sun today it's something totally different and the balance is a lot more than what the bill is sitting at home... Unfortunately I will be finding another eye doctor
