During a routine exam, Dr. Zuckerbrod noticed a cyst behind my eye and promptly referred me to an oncology ophthalmologist. At that appointment, the specialist specifically asked who had caught it and expressed how impressed he was, noting that this is something that normally would not have been detected. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Zuckerbrod for his attentiveness and care. His thorough approach quite literally caught something that could have been missed, and I can't thank him enough.
I would also like to recognize the office staff for how attentive and efficient they were in coordinating my care. They ensured my records were promptly sent to the specialist, which made the entire process seamless and significantly reduced stress during an already concerning situation. Thank you so much to everyone at the office!!

One of the best places I've ever been to and the staff is awesome and the doctors are amazing they care about your well-being from day one and they take time to listen and understand they also make sure you able to understand anything that they saying are going on with your treatment. I love the quality of the eyeglasses as well and the staff in there is amazing as well I wish I can write them more than five stars keep up the amazing work

They have the worst possible scheduling technique. They schedule you for 2:00pm and tell you if you are a no show, you'd get charged. Yet, you go in at 2:00pm and are not seen till 4:30pm. They schedule 4-5 people at a time, that is when you go for an appointment at 2:00pm, 4 others check in for an appointment at 2:00pm. You get the idea! And when you ask the receptionist, they say "we are trying." It's not difficult to understand a proper scheduling technique. All they have to do is to stager the appointment so each person has at least 20-30 minutes. That is, only schedule 2-3 people per hour. It's extremely frustrating!

I chose this office because it's conveniently located, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. The wait time was far too long for a scheduled appointment, and the waiting area looked like it hadn't been updated--or cleaned--since the 1960s. It was dirty, outdated, and not what you'd expect from a medical facility.
The ophthalmologist was thorough and professional, which I appreciated, but it's hard to believe their other offices are in this kind of condition. I suspect this location is being neglected simply because it's in Detroit, and that's really disappointing.
Another concern: it seems they remove or filter out negative reviews, which makes it difficult for patients to get an honest picture of what to expect.
Convenience brought me here, but I wouldn't return unless serious improvements are made to both the space and the patient experience.

I have been a patient and Burman Zuckerbrod for many years and I always receive great service. Recently at my visit, when i thought service couldn't get better, it exceeded even those expectations. Dr. Zuckerbrod and staff went above and beyond in their service at my recent visit, sharing information about my changing eye conditions with recommendations and solutions that facilitated and anticipated my need. I appreciate their consistent thoroughness and follow through in their care and attention to details.
I constantly recommend people to his office to also receive the same great care I've received for years that keeps getting better over time.

Terrible I arrive 45 mins early and I'm here 45 mins later and still haven't seen anyone... appointment at 12:45pm I get here 12:15pm and it 1:30pm and I'm still here...! And I'm getting a Lyft... never coming here again! I see 10 people walking around haven't came to see 1 person though
