Great experience. I was early but still didnt wait long to begin the services that come with the examl. Always respect the optometrist but I respect the front office more. They were polite and friendly and made me laugh. Thank you for a great visit.

I use to like this place back in the day. Service was good and there was a variety of frames on hand to pick from not anymore. It took one month to have my glasses ready for pickup, i thought that i would never get them, i almost forgot about them. Maybe they need new management

I do not normally post negative reviews but was really disappointed by my experience here. I live just around the corner from this business and was looking forward to using a local provider for my eye exam and glasses purchase. My number one issue with this place is how difficult they make it to retrieve your prescription records. They do not provide this information over through email which I have NEVER experienced before. You have to come into the physical office for a printed copy. Insanely inconvenient and unnecessary. Second, the doctor I saw was very unprofessional. Upon meeting him for the first time, he asked about my profession. I told him what I did for work and he proceeded to denigrate the field I work in. It was pretty unbelievable to be so condescended to by someone I had just met, let alone someone I was paying for a service. Lastly, the security guard was extremely inappropriate toward me. He commented on my appearance and followed me out of the store under the pretense of holding the door open for me. However, he followed me to my car and wanted to know my name and my marital status. Trying to be polite, I told him my name and shook his outstretched hand, which he then WOULDN'T LET GO OF when I was trying to get into my car. I was so, so put off by this interaction I almost went back in to complain, but didn't want to have to interact with this person any more. I had to go back into the office a week later to pick up my glasses and I had my husband come with me just so I would not be bothered. Months later I needed a copy of my prescription to order additional contacts and was told I needed to come into the physical location to pick it up - again, I brought my husband with me because I did not want further interaction with this security guard. This all happened in March 2024 and I am writing the review now as I am looking for a new eye doctor and wanted to warn others about my negative experience. I hope the business sees this and counsels the doctor and employees to maintain a more safe and professional atmosphere for their paying customers.

Walked in and was greeted immediately. Took 5 minutes to be waited on. The service was excellent. Made me smile. Was out in 15 minutes. 5 days later glasses ready. Had not been at this site in about 25 years. Thank you staff.

I came in today for my eye exam everything up until picking out the frames was perfect. Front desk was nice , Dr. was nice and informative. I sat down with a guy to help pick my frames( idk his name) seemed to be the only guy working. he pointed out the gucci, tiffany, and ray band cabinets. They were all locked so really I was just looking at the glasses through the glass w no visible price. No problem I understand he's doing his job. Like 2 minutes passed he came back and asked me did I see anything I liked. I pointed to frame that I liked and he gave it to me to try on. I got in the mirror and he said to me "you have a very round face maybe stay away from the round frames" I tried to laugh it off and chose another frame to try on. I like round and cat eye frames personally and just wanted to browse with different ones before I chose. He suggested a square frame and I tried it on, it was not something I liked and just said " I look like my mom" he said again "the square frames compliment your fat face well, the round ones will not fit because of your fat cheeks in the way." I just again laughed it off and told him I wanted to go with the ones I told him I liked in the beginning. We sat down and I was about to pay for them but I just realized that I didn't like his choice of words when describing my face and I just decided to leave instead of getting my glasses.

Dr. Cooper very good manners also answered all my questions explain everything about my exam

Best services and the ladies are just wonderful I liked the whole decoration. God bless Detroit.
