Heritage Optical Center

This one isn't like the one on livernois. Its a lot smaller. The technicians that are really helpful and very sweet. I enjoyed my son's appointment.

I went in for a eye exam last Friday. The people in there were very nice and helpful especially Monique she was very nice and helpful she let try different glasses and she was very knowledgeable and I appreciated that. And also optometrist was very nice and very professional I will definitely going back and sending people to them

They ok they just need more selection for those under government insurance. I see all the selection for high end clients even a person came in with more frames but nothing for new for government clients.

Took my daughter for an exam on November 17 they told us 2 weeks for pick up here it is December 20 and she still has NO GLASSES! when I called to see what the hold up was I was first told her frames was on back order. Called again and some lady answered the phone saying it's the labs fault not ours so I said should I just call back in a week or so? She said No we will call you! I said well I find that hard to believe since I was never called about her frames being on back order. Mind you the prescription my daughter currently has is no longer useful for her she was prescribed a higher prescription. I thought this would be cool cuz it's close to my home. But yeah I'd rather drive on grand River which is about 45 minutes from my home. The service was great! But they lack proper communication skills!

I've had an exam from seen optical which I highly recommend. I took my prescription from over a month a go to heritage for SAFETY GLASSES!!!! It's been 6weeks I've heard nothing. Before that I received a call confirming my order. They had the wrong script wrong first name the right telephone number and the right last name a long with a host of staff issues and manager who just up and quit. I was told my paper work couldn't be found. I gave them all the correct information and still waiting. Horrible I don't recommend anyone go here. Located on east Jefferson. I wouldn't give them a star.

It started off well...then it (Kim Parson-manager) happened! I was looking at frames that is designated for a specific insurance, not anticipating purchasing from that selection. Then I was approached with "Don't look at those!" Mind you she was at least ten feet away from me. As she proceeded to explain why, I told her I understood and was merely looking at them for comparison until someone could open the case of my preference. She continued to say "Don't look at them." I reiterated I understood and was waiting for the service from another associate that offers good service. This lady continued to speak in a condescending manner, and made me feel she was prejudging my Saturday afternoon attire. Idk maybe she thought i was going to run off with the cheap looking frames. I was so disturbed by this I left and went to the Livernois location, inwhich it was the most pleasant service. I rated it a two star because the other associates were welcoming and friendly. Kim never even said hello or apologized for hostile dialogue. I refuse to spend $700 plus and be talked to like I'm a two year old destroying glasses. This explains why an established business in Detroit can go under, you better believe my family of four and my colleagues will stay away from Jefferson/Chene location. I can't say for sure but maybe I resemble someone she had encounters with before. Suggestion: Train your staff and if it's a bad day for them take the day off or allow the professionals who were available to assist!

I was on my way to pick up my glasses and called to let them know I was only minutes away. I was told that an employee had an emergency and they were closing and walking out the door, but if I got there before they'd left they'd gladly hand me my glasses. I got there 10 minutes before closing time and they had left. The guy that said he'd gladly hand me my glasses if he was still there asked me what would I do if I'd gotten an emergency call. First off if someone were to call and it was an emergency calling 15 to 20 minutes before closing is Not an emergency, clearly they didn't want to wait and I rushed there on a half flat tire after getting someone to sit with my 2 yr old granddaughter not to be able to get my glasses. Clearly certain staff members here are unthoughtful and unprofessional

Heritage Optical on East Jefferson the lady has poor customer skills. I got fitted for my new glasses and informed the lady they were too loose on my face. She was rude and unprofessional. Had the audacity to get up from the counter and go over to her co-worker to talk about me while I was in ear shot to hear her conversation. The gentleman that works there is very professional. I had conversation with a family member and described her my family indicated that when went for service the same lady was RUDE!!!!
