Dr Blakey is the consummate professional & personal too. My exam went great. Dr. Blakely addressed some issues with my previous prescription (by someone else). I found some great new frames. They have vast selection to choose from and are always bringing in more. I highly recommend!

Very familiar place, close to the VA Hospital! The setting is located in an old mansion-like historic building, with beautiful "old-style" rooms and windows, and a lovely "homey," intimate atmosphere. Friendly, and engaging staff, helpful, and caring professionals, who took time to address my medical and visual concerns, as well as suggest current and updated health information, for which I hadn't been advised. Totally loved it, and enjoyed my doctor visit. Didn't feel rushed or pressured in any facet of the decision making at all!

I found that my visit was very pleasant. The doctor was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable doing my visit. I found that the doctor we're very thorough with my examination. I would recommend her to any of my friends needing assistance with any problems that they're having with with their eyesight

The staff was outstanding and very helpful. Getting there was a little difficult. The doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly. She really knew what she was doing. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Sharper vision. Thanks for the excellent help I received.

Dr. Blakeley was very professional and kind. She did a thorough exam and answered all of my questions. Jonathan as well was kind and helped me understand everything I needed to know about frames and lenses. I am glad I found this office.

THEY GAVE WRONG PRESCRIPTION. I attached proof so you can see, but Sharper Vision gave me an inaccurate eyeglasses prescription that hurt my eyes and I did not feel comfortable trying to go back there, so I ended up private paying (not using my insurance) to see another different provider (see Warby Parker script below) a month later to get the correct prescription. Warby did give me a good prescription that did not hurt my eyes. When I had called Sharper Vision office about this, her attitude on the phone was not kind. She refused to give me my pupillary distance measurement when asked, which you need to order eyeglasses-- she said this is not required by law even though every other eye doctor I have ever seen in my 35 years has always given this to me. It is clear that she wants to steamroll you into only buying glasses from her limited selection (very small showroom). Furthermore, the gentleman in the waiting area/trying on glasses area was very cold and seemed like he REALLY did not want my spouse and I to be there. Because of these reasons, I cannot recommend that other folks go to this provider. You will get a less icy reception, a better showroom, ALL of your measurements (including pupillary distance) that you paid for, and a more accurate prescription if you go elsewhere.

I had a great experience here. I was treated very kind and with respect. The staff is amazing. The exam was quick and comfortable. I love my new glasses and so does everyone else!!!! I look like a pimp but a good one.

Dr. Blakey is very professional and knowledgeable. She is patient and kind in her approach and demeanor. I appreciate how she listened to my needs and concerns and gave me options with those facts in mind. ;)
