What a wonderful experience! Last year I bought progressives elsewhere and hated them. So this year I visited Spectacle Society and Tina hooked me up with the most beautiful bifocal glasses I've ever owned. What's more, I can see perfectly because she took the time to learn about me - my hobbies, work, lifestyle, pain points about my precious glasses - to assess my needs and fit me with glasses that are not only strikingly beautiful, but easy to wear and suit my every need. When you need glasses, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Spectacle Society. It's so worth it.

Updated review: Tina has given the best customer service I have ever had, bar none. The personalized care, concern and responsiveness to my glasses is unparalleled. I live in California, and she went out of her way to replace my broken frames-I received a care package (pictured below) in the mail, with my new glasses. I cannot say enough about the caliber of care and the beautiful glasses Spectacle Society carries. THANK YOU TINA!!! Best glasses experience ever! Highly recommend. Spectacle Society has given me both a new appreciation and care advice for my glasses. Now, I wash cleaning cloths every week and never leave my glasses in the car. Tina helped me pick the perfect pair of glasses! I have been coming into the shop for a year before making my decision and Tina was amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME. OMG. Finding Spectacle Society totally changed my view on glasses! I've been a die-hard contacts person since the age of 9... But during the pandemic I was introduced to Spectacle Society and I've not put a contact in my eye every since. Oh I have them and still use them if I have to, but really now that I have such beautiful, unique eyewear I am actually excited to show off my glasses every day. If you've struggled with the lack of customer service at big box stores, definitely make an appointment to visit Spectacle Society. You can even make it a fun date night! My husband and I both love our glasses and are now thanks to Tina (owner) better stewards of the care of our eyewear and slowly becoming collectors of frames we just love. You won't regret make an appointment here! Just know this is not no Warby Parker or Lens Crafters, but more like making a purchase of art for your face ;)

Tina's attention to details of craftsmanship, style, and technology, coupled with her talent for reading and being responsive to people from all kinds of backgrounds and locations, makes her a joy to work with. One of the best investments I've made -- and through virtual fittings no less!

Tina is a pure joy to work with. She was passionate about making sure I got the right glasses with the right fit, and the right colors. She is knowledgeable and has a great artistic eye for design (what types of frames work and what don't), and her customer service is superior. The selection of frames was amazing! I live in New Mexico, and Tina was very accommodating, shipping me frames to try on and then meeting with me via Zoom to help me discern which frames were the best for my face. The entire experience was stress-free and enjoyable. And turn-key! I highly recommend her to anyone in Detroit (or around the country) who is interested in purchasing great frames (designs, colors, quality). If Google would have let me give her 10 stars instead of 5, I would have.
