Doctor Sanhouri is an excellent doctor and is proficient at his job. He always answers my questions and ask me if I am comfortable. I talk to other patients and they feel the same way about him. I am fortunate to have him as my doctor. I would recommend him to everyone.

I was very nervous going in today because I knew I was going to have to have surgery on my retina. The staff was very nice and calming. Dr El, the surgeon, I had met when he took care of my husband, so I knew I would be in good hands. The sooner I can get this done, the happier I will be. I would recommend LO Eye Care to anyone who needs any eye procedure!

Upon checkout, we came across Stephanie B at the desk. She was super snappy and rude. If we would have treated the staff that way they would have complained but it seemed to be okay for her to be so nasty at checkout. She severely needs an attitude adjustment. Also overheard staff complaining about patients, don't think this is something we should be talking about where patients can still hear you.

I recently I noticed a change in my vision. I have been to Dr. Ell several times in the past. I had extra testing. Dr. El explained why I was experiencing the vision problem and I felt reassured. Staff were very kind and helpful.

After three years of treatment, I started going to Dr. L. Each time I felt the needle hit my eye. This last time was by far the worst. Prior to seeing Dr. L. I had never felt a needle. Just wondering what he's doing that's different than the others

Dr. El is very professional. I get a shot in my eye in hopes of keeping my eyesight longer. He shows empathy and concern over excessive pain - there wasn't any. I wasn't excited by the crowd in the waiting room, but it was a holiday week . It was a "pleasant" visit.

Dr. El-Sanhouri is a board-certified and fellowship trained retinal and vitreo-retinal specialist. He performs many retina surgeries including retinal detachment repairs as well as a variety of in-office procedures to treat macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other chronic and degenerative eye conditions. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. Dr. El-Sanhouri completed his retina fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.
