East Lansing Family Eyecare

I work for another clinic in a different state and called in search of a frame for a patient that relocated to the Lansing area. I spoke with Derek, who was pleasant and super helpful on the phone. I feel confident directing my patient to East Lansing Family Eyecare to get the same level of care I would provide. 5 stars for that great customer service by phone!

My family has been seeing Dr Thompson for more than 12 years. He is a fantastic practitioner and the entire staff is knowledgeable, kind and inclusive. My family has grown quite a bit since first seeing him and he's been wonderful with each member including my daughter with Apraxia of speech. Would recommend this practice ten times over (in fact, I have!).

This was one of the best eye exams I have ever had. It is very clear that Dr. Jacobs loves his job and really enjoys educating his patients. The staff was phenomenal and helped us pick out eyewear. They quickly figured out our style and likes and dislikes in glasses and were able to suggest other styles we may like. This process wasn't overbearing at all either. Altogether, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend seeing Dr. Jacobs to friends, family, and anyone here.

Dr. Thompson has been our family's doctor for years and we are always very happy with the care we receive. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and their frame selection is excellent. I would definitely recommend!

I am extremely pleased with the kind, professional service I received today. After being examined at another large practice in East Lansing, I discovered their optometry department does not work with my insuramce. I quickly got online to find out who was in the area that accepted my insurance. I called and talked to Susan, telling her I had my prescription, and just needed to order some glasses. She assured me they could get me right in. I arrived within 5 minutes of speaking with Susan. She helped me pick out frames, offered to call the other practice I had just left to get an updated prescription for my occupational readers, and even talked to my old opthalmologist office, to find out exactly what add ons I have on my current glasses. She was very thorough and didn't waste any time getting me taken care of. And all for approximately $400 less than I expected to pay! Thank you Susan for all your help today. I have found my new home for eye care!!

I could tell shortly after my exam began--that East Lansing Family Eyecare was a professional atmosphere. I felt at ease with their attention to detail and the clean peaceful surroundings. I would highly recommend to someone hesitant about eye care--to make an appointment without delay.
