I have been a patient there for years for my brain injury that now gives me migraines. I have never been treated so rudely from a nurse in my life. I am a elder, and deserve a little patience in answering questions related to past medications. They have changed their program so need all most all your information again. When she started to help me I could tell she had an attitude and was already irritated. When taking my temperature, there were 3 different readings. I was going somewhere after this appt. so I really needed to get an accurate reading..the first one was very high the other two also different. When I i asked to have it done again for accuracy, she refused. Then proceeded to be obviously mad at me for not knowing what the medication was she was asking me if I still took. Turned out it was years old . A number of them were years old..I had to look and see what they were for. She was very upset with me and rude. Told me she had other patients to get too. It was not my fault somehow their records were wrong on my meds. I asked her if she was upset with me and she said yes. I've never been treated so rudely by a nurse. The doctors were amazing. The nurse who then came in to take an accurate temperature reading was also wonderful. I hope I never deal with that other lady again.
Do not even bother! I read the other reviews after already booking my appointment and they are absolutely right. They have last minute cancelled my appointments the day before 3 times already so I have never been able to even get in! Something weird is going on here it almost feels like some sort of scam and I will be finding a new office to go to because this one needs to get their priorities in check bad. Such a waste of time for people who may need urgent help and care to cancel so last minute so often. I don't know how they could be allowed to do this honestly it is so strange! Doesn't help how rude the receptionist is either:)
Terrible experience! I cannot get an appointment for treatment after being in the hospital. One day they say they have my referral and a doctor will have to accept me as a patient, 2 days later they say that they don't have my paperwork. They deserve 0 stars
Horrible!!!! Do not go to this facility!
Stage 3 colon cancer survivor here (two years), was seen for recurrent vertigo since finishing chemo treatments. In September 2025, I saw resident Pasmanter and an intern. First the intern. Who told me my cancer had spread. And when I pushed for more information he blew me off. He rushed thru the appt, didn't listen to my concerns, cut me off several times, and even told me that my neuropathy wasn't as bad as diabetic patients he sees. When Dr. Pasmanter entered the room, I told him my concerns about what I was told, only to be blown off again and my questions about my cancer having spread, went unanswered. He diagnosed me with A-typical migraines and wanted to put me on a daily maintenance medication to prevent migraines. I do not have re-current symptoms of this diagnosis, and I refused medication. He ordered several mri's and has yet to follow up. I also inquired about natural ways to help with the neuropathy and he only offered narcotics. I refused, again. After one month of calling the office to get clarification about what I was told, I made an appt with my oncologist who confirmed that my cancer had not spread. He was very upset your neurology department gave me such traumatic and serious misinformation. The same day I saw my oncologist, I miraculously received an email on my MSU portal stating my cancer hadn't spread, also stating they had been trying to reach me. This is not true. No one has attempted to reach out. The thread was closed immediately and I am unable to ask follow up questions or reach out to the Dr. Pasmanter. I've called the office multiple times asking for return calls to go over my mri results. It took almost another month to see the results of my brain and spine mri's. Again no follow up from the doctor. Yesterday, December 16, I called again because Dr. Pasmanter said there's a test they want to perform when I'm having an active vertigo episode. I was told there were no notes discussing the next steps. I received a call back, no message was left. No message on my portal. So I called again. Spoke with someone who said the Dr called and typed notes, stating he had been trying to reach me. One phone call, no voicemail left, no portal message. The woman I spoke with was very confused by the notes, and she was going to ask for clarity and explicitly ask for a nurse to call me back to go over everything. No call back, as of yet.
This office is horrible. They do not care about their patients and are dismissing the misinformation they are giving to their patients. I have never been treated so poorly, at a medical facility. I've been trying to get answers since September (4 months). This is absolutely unacceptable.
Khalil and her whole staff have been amazing! They not only have fought to find answers for my daughter but Jori and others in the office literally go to battle with the insurance companies to ensure their patients get what they need. We have been all over the state and even to the Mayo clinic and I can hands down say this is the best pediatric neurology office around.
Audrey made my day, filled with positivity and energy esp after my day was not the greatest! I love this office and they always pull through when I need medications or something goes wrong with the pharmacy. Highly reccomend.
My son had his epidiolex switched to xcopri and almost immediately started having many of the well known bad side effects. I reported this to his neuro doctor at least a dozen times over the past couple months. Reported his memory issues and his trouble walking, many falls, etc. He was unable to walk at times and was full of sprained ankles and wrists, lumps and bruises, and generally doesn't remember anything anymore. He went to emergency about it and no one seems to want to do a thing about it. His last fall caused a gigantic gash in his knee exposing his entire patella. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the care he's receiving...or should I say non-care? I wouldn't be able to recommend them to anyone anymore.
Absolutely hate this place! I have a 4 year old with Epilepsy and we've been through 3 Drs all of which don't have time for their patience. God forbid you miss an apt and when you do, your reschedule your 6 months out, if not longer. Communication is trash and good luck EVER getting your doctor on the phone. We seen Dr. Tusang in Lansing at Sparrow for a 24 brain evaluation (EEG) and my daughter was out on new meds.. they've gave us different scripts and amounts multiple times and have shortened her on her meds so many times based off what she's prescribed. Yesterday I picked up her kepra and he dose was adjusted 2ml less. That could throw my daughter in a huge seizure repetition. They referred me out and basically said we arnt gonna adjust the scripts back or refill them if we don't come in (MIND YOU THEY NEVER HAVE ANY AVAILABILITY) and we just seen her dr in JUNE
