Dr. Shaw did my cataract surgery and suggested I try the LAL lens (light adjustable lens). I'm very happy that I followed her advice. After a few weeks of appointments and adjustments I have ended up with 20/15 vision for distance and no glasses needed for reading. I wholeheartedly recommend this team. From Sarah, the technician, to Dr. Field who did my adjustments, each person went above and beyond. They provided thorough answers to all my questions and offered reassurance throughout. Well done!

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Shaw's for 4 years. She followed her from her previous practice in Grand Blanc to her new facility in Fenton. My mother's glaucoma was no longer treatable with medications, and Dr. Shaw presented 3 surgical options that could reduce the eye pressure. Dr. Shaw explained the pros and cons of the procedures and patiently answered all of our questions. We selected the Xen procedure and it was a success for the first eye! The second eye will be done soon. We would recommend Dr. Shaw to patients that require her glaucoma specialty and we are grateful her new practice is in our hometown of Fenton!
