I love the doctors and I love the staff. I lived in Ionia for 8 years got three pair of glasses from them. My lenses always got scratched and I take care of my glasses. Moved away got another eyeglass doctor. Don't have that problem no more. The company they use are crap for the lenses.

I was a patient at this office for years seeing both Drs Patera & DenBraber & thought highly of both. After skipping a year during the pandemic I could not get an appointment for months & went elsewhere for a few years. I was able to get back in this year (2024) & saw Dr. Kara Krupp. I am very impressed. She has a kind & gentle demeanor & was very thorough in her explanations. She was very patient with my questions and concerns; I never felt rushed or a bother. I highly recommend her and the office.

I was extremely frustrated with this appointment. It took an hour and a half for the doctor to tell me I had try eyes when I was explaining I felt a change in my vision. I wanted to order eyewear , everyone was on lunch . For someone who is a nursing student and working , with not much time available this was just poor customer service. Not everyone has the availability to just come back. I work in healthcare, I get people need to take lunches and have breaks .. but does every single person need to go at the same time .

Dr. Den Braber is amazing. He genuinely listens to me and makes me feel heard. He explains what is going on with my eyes in a way I understand. Also the office doesn't have long wait times, even when the Dr. takes the time to ensure I understand. The staff are also nice and considerate too. This office found an astigmatism that other offices missed. Getting the right prescription has made an incredible difference.
