Advanced Vision Care PC

Incident on 6-18-2025. I have been very impressed with the professionalism and competency of the medical team at Advance Vision Care. I would also like to complement the office manage at AVC for her intervention during a billing mishap in which a member of her team falsely accused me of not paying an invoice, and refused to make the effort to trace the deposit of funds to their own account. I was informed it was necessary for me to do the legwork, and invest my time and effort to show the funds were present in their own account. How is a business unaware of the funds in their own account? As a one-time courtesy, I did their job for them. I was not about to deal with a rude staff member again. I presented a copy of a processed bank check, proving the invoice was paid, and funds deposited to their own account, directly to the office manager. The office manager promptly apologized for the mishap. I understand that everyone is human and errors may happen. However, I will not be bullied with false accusations which attack my character, accuse me of being irresponsible, and put demands on my time because they are too lazy to do their job.

I had called and was lucky to be able to switch my appointment time as I work third shift to something in the afternoon. When I arrived, I was promptly greetedand directed to the waiting area and wasn't even finished filling out the paperwork before the doctor was ready to see me. She was very courteous and the appointment moved along quickly so I was out in no time. A painless process. Thank you.

Dr. Hosner is among the top 5 doctors I've encountered in my entire life, and I'm now 70 years old. He seems to be extremely competent and knowledgeable, and interacts very well with me, and I suspect with other patients as well. He took far more time with me yesterday than I was probably entitled to, but didn't stop until he saw that I was on the path to recovery. It was above and beyond the call of duty. We would have a better health care system if everyone emulated him.

Jessica was amazing and very kind. Dr. Hosner was very helpful in answering all my questions and explaining everything so that I could understand what he was telling me. He was also very understanding and asked me exactly what kind of vision I wanted out of this surgery and what it would take to have those results. He was also amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Hosner and Jessica with this surgery.

I had an emergency eye issue - I am new to area - no prior knowledge of this office - basically followed the on call Dr process. They got me in same as having an appointment - no wait!!! Dr explained my eye issue very well - took a different approach with meds than has been tried in past. I am very impressed. Have a follow-up appointment scheduled. My eye is feeling great 6 hrs later.

Always very professional and friendly. They get me in on time and take the time to answer any questions I may have. Dr Prater is great, and her staff!

I never have to wait long for the doctor, and she is very efficient and quick to complete the exam and explain what is next for my care. I have no complaints. Employees are all very pleasant.

Dr. Munzer is more concerned with money than the patient. No professionalism and terrible service. Came straight from intensive care and made to wait over an hour, while he sat in his office, before telling them we need to leave because of medication, was told he was concerned if we leave that we will not pay. He does not care about your well-being.
