Midland Eye Care

I called for my sons lazy eye. He was young, limited language. Of course he would need his eyes dilated! They "forgot" and instead of owning it.... they asked me to come back a month later. Ha. Because that would make a difference how? I would have rather waited so my son could get the glasses he needed. I drove somewhere else the same day and got a script!! The front desk worries too much about their social lives than to be accurate. Then I called because I was upset that I then had to pay a $30 copay for no script!!!! How did that even help my family?!? Would not recommend.

I called to schedule an appointment to be tested for a rare hereditary eye condition (Choroideremia). The receptionist was extremely rude, dismissive, and acted as though I was bothering her for trying to make a legitimate medical appointment. This was unprofessional and disrespectful -- was not the kind of treatment I expected when reaching out to a healthcare provider.

After having some issues with my new glasses which I purchased elsewhere; the ladies at Midland Eye Care (both Cathies,) took excellent care of me and fixed the issues I was experiencing with my new glasses. The professionalism and quality of their work truly shines through, as well as the experience and expertise these ladies have. Thank you for taking the time to take care of me today!

Absolutely an amazing experience! I'm in town to help take care of my elderly parents who are having health issues. We came to pick up a new contact lens for my father who has problems walking, etc. He also managed to dislodge his regular contact to the back of his eye that morning and couldn't get it out. I went to the desk and asked if they could help with that issue in addition to picking up the new lens that we were there to get. Within seconds the staff (I hope I get her name right, I think it was Marcie), not only recognized my dad by name, but knew that he was legally blind in one eye and that it was the left side they needed to work on...We didn't even need to tell her. Sure enough, his contact was lodged in pretty good, so she wanted to get the doctor to help. Again, within seconds the doctor was there to help, and was able to delicately get it out. They also both seemed to know that despite their advice not to wear his contact for the rest of the day due to the agitation of getting the contact out of his eye, he would refuse their advice...which he did. I asked him later that evening if his contact was still in, and how his eye felt since they said it might hurt. He said something along the lines of, "My eye is pretty tough, and they know that there." So much love to the staff and Dr. at this office for just knowing their patients, loving their patients, and being ridiculously time efficient for somebody who just walked in!

The staff here is amazing. The cleanliness of the office was pristine. I finally found a place that actually listen and got my daughter the glasses she needed. Seriously, thank you to every one in that office.

The whole staff is very skilled at their professions, and always kind, even when they are super busy...which is everyday. A special THANK YOU to Dr. Dawes and the student who ran the pre-exam tests on my son who is on the autism spectrum. Both were patient, encouraged him, and explained things well to him before and during the procedures and exam. Thank You so much!

Kids' appointments are always quick and easy. Front desk is friendly and efficient. The doctor is very pleasant. Good selection of frames. Staff is very friendly and helpful finding alternative options and color variations.

Dr.and Staff are all very friendly yet professional ,Timely and Thorough! I highly recommend Midland Eye Care for your family! I always look forward to my appts with them.
