The service here is terrible, Dr Nagia is a great Dr, but the office has no organization or regards for the patient's time. My first couple of visits went okay, but every time after, I have been left sitting in a room waiting for the Dr to come in for nearly an hour, this is after all my other test had been done. My last visit I waited 50 minutes in the room to see the Dr, and no one still came so I left the appointment without being seen. I live 45 minutes each way for this location, I take time off work, and they truly have no regards for my time. My time is important as well as theirs if they are running behind, please have decency and common courtesy and have me reschedule. I am looking for new Dr because this is unacceptable.
This place is a joke. On my 3rd or 4th visit which was a follow up, I sat in the lobby for almost an hour, then pictures were taken, and then sat in another waiting area (never had to set here before) for 10-15 minutes, finally moved into a room, eyes numbed and dilated. Sat for another 30-45 minutes and no one came back. I walked into the hallway and was asked if I could be helped. I mentioned how long I'd been waiting, all of a sudden a resident comes in a few minutes later. She looks in my eyes says she has to get her boss and she leaves, I waited another 30 minutes and no one came back. I left. Funny thing is when I came as a new patient and had laser treatments twice I was seen quick. Just being there for a 6 weeks follow up I'm waiting all day. I got a call almost 2 hours after I left saying I checked in but wasn't there to be seen. You're darn right, I have a life and can't be sitting somewhere for 2-3 hours with no movement. The guy says "well Retina clinic is expected to have a 2-3 hour appointment." When sir because that's a first since I been coming. I said I won't be coming back, he says "any Retina clinic you go to will be the same." I told him to have a nice day. Money seems to be the agenda here, obviously office visit follow ups don't pay as much as laser treatments. It's really sad. I see why the reviews are 3 stars. I should have read them before making an appointment when I first started at this place.
No need to respond to my review, it's the principle of common courtesy. If the clinic is running behind inform the patient when they check in. Then the patient can say I'll reschedule or not. People have lives.
I was visiting the states and thought to go and check in with an eye doctor here. The waiting time was long but still I felt it isnot a biggie. The biggest shock was when I recieved the bill and then went to pay it online . I was told that consultation fees range between 300-500$ and I said thats fine . I received the letter as attached above and went online to pay online only to find the actual amount due is 623$. I called the receptionist to inquire about the discrepenacy in the amount but she then delegated me to the department of finance which then delegated me to the department of complaints. After a long wait, the person verbatim told me that the additional amount was hospital service fees to which I asked more explanations on so they said it is the fee for booking a room for you for the consultant to see you and for them to use the equipments. It was a bit bizarre! Never in my life did I encounter consultation fees and then fees for using equipments and a room to be seen at ? And why were we not told about that prior when we asked? Where and using the doctor is supposed to assess the situation? Using his bare hands and in the forest? How come the amount wasn't part of the bill letter sent and just appeared when I headed to pay online. Honestly, although the consultant was competent, my experience was very disappointing.

Update: They called and canceled my appointment AGAIN???? It's a simple follow up and I've been pushed backed for two weeks at this point. I scheduled appointments when I did to fit my schedule. On the voicemail they left me, they rescheduled it for me for a time that doesn't even work... which means I'm going to have to call and reschedule for the THIRD time which will end up being some time in October I bet. I would not recommend going here. I'll probably request my documents/papers and go somewhere else. Which I'm sure doesn't really matter because they're getting new patients constantly. What a waste of time.
I had a scheduled appointment 3 weeks out on a Monday and then got a phone call Thursday before the weekend to tell me it's canceled? I never initiated the cancel and then I never got the opportunity to call and reschedule because they're not open on the weekends. I had a family member take vacation time off for this appointment and that's a limited supply, only for the appointment to be canceled without any information to explain the situation.
Seen in hospital for attack. Found irregularity. Provided follow up. 20 minute appointment became 2 hours for thorough inspection. All good. Suggested referral by primary to neurologist. Incredible service. Fast staff. Easy to find. Good signage. Terribly difficult parking. Highly suggest a carpool. Eyes dilated unexpectedly, grateful to have a ride, prepared for complications to schedule. Pleased with extensive expertise of doctors. Negative result thank goodness. Insurance for this just got complicated.
If you like sitting in waiting rooms for over a hour, this place is for you! Also, if you want to receive the wrong eyeglass prescription, come here!
This place needs to realize that other people's time is just as important as theirs and that people spend a lot of money buying glasses...so give them the correct prescription so they don't waste their money like I did.
Great Docs with good "bedside " manners. Pleasant and professional.
This is the worst eye place that I ever been to. They forgot I was in the room. The doctor never showed up. I had an appointment at 3:40 I didn't get in the room until after 4. I sat in the until 5:18. No doctor show up. I will never and I mean never go back to this place again. If I would have known it only had 3.2 stars I would have never went there in the first place. I never went to a doctor office and they forgot I was in there. I plan on contacting the news so people's can know what is going on at this eye place.
