Fraser is by far your best option if you're looking for a place to get Lasik. I recently had my procedure done, and it went really well from beginning to end. They are very accommodating, and their communication and facility are in excellent condition. Although I was previously skeptical about the Lasik procedure, I was really happy. Overall, recovery was very quick, and I was able to see about 90% the following day. All of the nurses, and Doctors are amazing ; they know how to take care of you. Can you find somewhere cheaper? Probably but will it provide you with As good of a service i doubt it for the Price I would say its A+
Kate is great. The other doctors not so much. Manzo has continued to decline, he should retire. This last visit he was short, and seemed annoyed I asked questions. He was overly alarmist about my exam and not interested in discussing results. Furthermore, he kept insisting I am diabetic when I am not diabetic. He even charted I am diabetic. What the hell? I'm seeking a new practice now.
I cannot recommend this team enough! We received superior service. They took my daughter as an emergency visit at 4:00 on a Friday. She is in a wheel chair and has a great dane service dog. So we were a lot for a last minute exam. The compassion, care and service was over the top. The doctor was very familiar with my daughters rare genetic disorder and the effects on the eye. You are in great hands at this location.
I can't stand this place the wait time is ridiculous they have you wait for an "open room" over an hour past your appointment like you want to spend your entire day here. Absolutely disrespectful
I accompanied my mother-in-law for a glaucoma test, and the experience was seamless. We hardly had to wait, and the staff, along with the doctor, were fantastic, addressing all my questions. I highly recommend this place!
I was a just a walk-in patient and they were incredibly accommodating. The reception seems exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable.
Haven't used them for anything other than eye injuries yet. The whole team has steady hands and work quickly to resolve my issues and have me on my way. Will be returning for regular eye stuff soon.
Buckle up. This is going to be a longer review:
I honestly thought a place like this was going to be a gimmicky eye place for some reason, but it was close to home, so I made an appointment. Y'all, seriously, I was so wrong. Everything was great. I walk in and front desk is killing it, processing people and keeping everything neat and efficient. As an administrator, you can see they have their system in place and are executing it well. Great job ladies!
There's ample seating, but it's doesn't really matter because you're never sitting there long enough for it to matter. The process moves very quickly! The ladies doing my preliminary exams are also efficient and sweet! I'm done in no time at all, and we even get a quick chance to chit chat. They wipe all the equipment down every. time. I feel so comfortable with the cleanliness because they are consistently doing the same thing, it's almost robotic. Love it!
So I first met with Dr. Vanderhoof, and she was super awesome! She and her team listened, gave me their thoughts and opinions, and I felt comfortable to ask them all my nut-nut questions. They ended up suggesting LASIK to me, and I eventually got LASIK done.
MY LASIK EXPERIENCE
I am going to synthesize my entire LASIK experience into a manageable summary. Dr. Krivo is freaking awesome! He's so laid back and genuine, you wonder if he's real, but I assure you he is. He just knows his stuff and doesn't want you to waste your time on the unnecessary, unlike other practices I've been to. I was nervous about getting LASIK, but y'all the worst part was the gross "happy pill" they give you before the procedure.
The procedure itself takes no time at all. Imagine your eye surgeon says, "Okay, we're ready to start. We're just going to count down from 6, 5,4,3,2,1 and your right eye is done! You're doing a great job!" and then you repeat the same on your left eye. No pain. WHAT? Why was I nervous??
All my followups since LASIK have been consistently awesome at the location and with Dr. Krivo and his team. I feel so comfortable and happy with them that I brought the team a tea sampler of some of my favorite teas to try. Lol
FINAL THOUGHTS
So, this place is not a gimmick. It is, rather, the best eye doctor experience I've ever had. I'm recommending this place to anyone I want to have a great experience.
