Main Street Eye Care

I initially had a scheduled eye exam but developed an infection. I was treated for the infection with follow-ups. Every aspect of my experience at Main Street Eye Care was phenomenal! Will continue to use them for my eye care needs

I've been going to Main Street Eye Care for three years, and each experience has been nothing but positive. My prescription glasses have each provided exceptionally clear vision, and they have a great assortment of frames from which to choose. Gina is exceptionally kind and patient in helping me find a style that is both cute and comfortable. Today I needed to call for my prescription so that I can get some sports glasses for tennis that I found in an online sale. They were totally fine with this and are emailing me my prescription.

The exam was well done and the O.D. took his time to evaluate my vision. However, once I explained that I would not be purchasing eye glasses or contacts from them and I would go through Warby Parker (WP) instead, it quickly felt transactional and as though they had issues with that. I am getting my lenses changed for free (within 6 months of purchase) and am spending $96 (first time 20% off) on 6 months worth of contacts at WP so it is a no brainer for anyone on a budget. Right after the exam is when I had to deal with the unprofessional behavior of the receptionist. I had gone to WP to change my glasses lenses and to return a previously ordered set of contacts when WP suggested exchanging them and explained I should be entitled to the Rx even prior to the trial period (I have yet to verify this information). Either way, I had to speak with the receptionist who refused to let me speak to the O.D. and stopped answering my calls. I am a more than reasonable customer, I am in my last year of medical school and find this level of greed and unprofessionalism absolutely unacceptable in what should be a medical facility before a sales office. I was so fed up by this behavior that I am opting for redoing my contact evaluation at a WP facility as I will still be saving more than 50% by not purchasing anything from them. Overall, I regret giving them my business and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know.

Main Street eye care is what you hope for in an eye shop. They can order contacts help tighten and maintain glasses I've been going there five years. This is GINA the coordinator whose warmth, attention to detail, and transparency in checking benefits and cost of contacts and glasses is all you may hope to find. You can trust your orders for glasses will be completed 10/10 correctly, and contact orders will be accurate.

I just worked with Marcie and ordered two pairs of glasses and she was very professional personable and a pleasure to work with. I have a very strong prescription and due to the thickness of my lenses my choices are limited so I went in and had a brief consultation with her and showed her a few of the styles that I liked and then I left and returned a few hours later and she had a very nice selection picked out for me and it saved a lot of time and I was very comfortable working with her. They also have a very nice selection of glasses to choose from so I would highly recommend them.

First time coming here. Optometrist was pushy about the additional cost services saying things like "you're not even going to try it?" He gave me a a different prescription than any other Optometrist had given me. I ended up getting migraines because of my if and had to pay for another exam and pair of glasses out of pocket to get the correct prescription from another Optometrist. Main Street Eye Care cost me a lot of money and a lot of pain.

I took my daughter here for her very first exam. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and patient with my fidgety 4 year old! The Doctor was equally patient, taking all the time to explain everything in an age-appropriate manner. They were not pushy with sales at all, and their prices were reasonable with insurance. We will definitely be back.

After ordering a few frames/lenses online in the past online, it's nice to remember that there are still nice places that let you take your time, and care more than anything about your customer satisfaction... I am so happy that I chose to go to Main Street Eye Care. The exam went great, the doctor even showed me the difference/change in my vision very clearly, answered any questions I had about the potential of Macular Degeneration, and gave thoughtful advice/suggestions on ways to reduce the risk. The staff was very helpful and sweet when it came to choosing my frames, and, again. the customer service was top notch for everything under the sun I could think of to ask.
