Michigan Contact Lens is literally a sight for sore eyes. Great service, knowledgeable staff and an unique selection of the finest frames to choose from-- I was even able to get my prescription and glasses same day! I have been wearing hard contacts for over 10 years-- believing I couldn't wear glasses to correct, Dr. Y. Shira was able to give my eyes a rest!! And staff helped me pick out the perfect pair of Cazal glasses!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shira Kresch and the entire team at Michigan Contact Lens Specialists. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
Dr. Kresch and her staff were incredibly patient, precise, and attentive. They truly took their time to understand my eyes and carefully design my scleral lenses, making sure everything was done correctly and comfortably. I never felt rushed, and every step of the process was clearly explained.
I also want to specifically thank Sam, who helped me with my glasses and was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and Shishana, who patiently taught me how to wear and handle my scleral lenses. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt confident before leaving.
It's obvious that Dr. Kresch genuinely cares about her patients, and her team reflects that same level of care and dedication. The professionalism, accuracy, and kindness I experienced truly exceeded my expectations.

If you was recommend to come here then its because she know exactly what you need. Walking is so warming and welcoming. If you have questions or concerns she actually listen to and will help anyway she can. I personally have been wearing scleral contact lenses since 2019 and I had to go through so many different pairs before I got the fit each year. After 2 years i finally was able to get my 3rd pair and she fit me so perfectly and they do not irritate me at all. Which is allowing me to wear them longer so I can see and enjoy my life.

I highly recommend! I had an eye exam for contacts. Dr. Shira discovered issues that were missed with other Ophthalmologists. She is personable, patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I have had the dry eye treatments to restore clogged glands and has made a huge difference. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. You are treated as a patient, not just a number. Great service and great at addressing/correcting root cause of vision issues.

Dr. Kresch and staff are the very best! She goes above and beyond in everything she does. I haven't been able to wear contacts for 37 years. I decided at age 66 that it wasn't too late to try, and i don't regret it. She is really helping with my severe dry eyes ( e.g. scleral contacts, procedures, meds, etc.) and has worked to make the perfect fit for my new contacts. It is well worth the 2 hour drive to get there! I highly recommend Dr. Shira Kresch!

By far the most thorough eye exams that I have ever received! Dr Kresch takes her time during the examination with multiple tests and explanations. She was also kind enough to allow myself multiple different trial lens in order to find what fit my eye best, between hard lens, toric lens, and different brands of standard soft contacts. This is where I will continue to go for all my upcoming eye exams!
