I've been coming here for years for my contacts. Occasionally I'll get my glasses prescription changed in my old frames. It's been over a month and my glasses are still not right. It takes weeks to get them back, the script was in the wrong eyes, the anti glare is webbed. I took them back and one lens is fine but the other one still has a glare because of the webbed. I can't go another month hoping they catch QC problems.

My experience at the optical department was nothing but stellar. I brought in a prescription from an optometrist and later from an ophthalmologist from the same Southfield office. I was examined by both of these doctors at separate times within a 3 month period of time. They both wrote prescriptions that excluded my astigmatism. As a result neither prescription corrected my vision. When I returned to them for a third time, I was met with subtle hostility. Nevertheless, Dr. Kashou from Sam's Club kindly and patiently re-examined my eyes and wrote a prescription that actually corrected my vision. Not once did she make any disparaging comments about the other two doctors. I guess she didn't have to because I sure did. Lesson learned: Sometimes quality, competency and professionalism comes in a department store setting. I highly recommended them. Thank you so much Dr. Kashou.
