Kevin Leikert, DO

Experience excellent kind customer service from every employee. Exceptionally pleased with Dr. Kevin Leikert he has a very caring and concerned manner. The only problem I have were directions getting to the building behind the hotel up the hill to the back side.

I am always impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency and friendliness of everyone I have been in contact with at GR Opthamology. Dr. Leikert and his crew are no exception. Wait time was minimal and I felt like they really knew what they were doing. I have no doubts that Dr. Leikert will do a great job on my cataract surgery.

The doctors, most of the technicians, and all of the front desk staff have been very good to excellent. However, their version of a patient-oriented website or patient portal is absolutely awful. (1) One would think visit summaries ought to be listed intuitively, right? Well, no...they are called "Patient Plan" and are found only within the Messages part of the site. Even worse, the only way to access the summary, a.k.a. Patient Plan, is to let the website download and store it somewhere on your own laptop. It seems to then disappear entirely from their own website, so you have to successively mark each downloaded file with a name and date that makes sense in your own system. (2) I receive multiple messages and cannot usually tell whether I really need to do anything about them. These messages are often unclear as to whether they actually want the patient to do something or to provide any input, or are just asking for yet another review. For instance, one message said I needed to review a new prescription that was discussed and decided upon during my divist with my ophthalmologist the day before. (What do they want me to review it for? - Am I supposed to say whether I think it's appropriate? or if I LIKE it?? It makes no sense to ask for a review of a prescription by a patient). PLEASE consider getting a focus group of patients together to figure out how this website could actually work. I guarantee it would save your staff time in having to answer confused phone calls from patients.

My Mother-in-law had severe glaucoma in the right eye. Her pressure was 32. Dr Leikert surgically installed a drainage tube and brought the pressure down to 12. The whole team was very helpful and Dr Leikert was not only very skillful but very caring also!! Great Job Everyone!!

Easy to understand his explanations. Knowledgeable with a calm demeanor. Didn't feel rushed or in a hurry to move on to the next patient. Positive experience.

I had a possible emergency issue and they got me right in. The entire staff was organized, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. After Dr. Leikert did a thorough exam, it turns out I was AOK. I appreciate the Grandville ofc

The care I received at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology was very good. The nurses where very pleasant. I would recommend Dr Leikert to any of my friends or family if they needed this procedure done . My procedure went very well.
