Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan

I had checked out 2 other Cataract Surgeons before finding Dr Parent, both tried upselling me to Light Adjustable Lens.. I had Lasik done over 28 years ago & had Monovision done then, so now requiring Cataract Surgery is a little trickier... Dr. Parent gave me a warm fuzzy feeling that he could get my vision back to 20/20 TORIC Specialty Lens... YES, He restore my eyesight to 20/20 again, what a Blessing!!! The complete Staff at the Warren Office is Warm & Welcoming, Professional, Pleasant, Kind, Very Considerate of your time & just downright AWESOME!!! What a great experience..You won't regret going here...

Visited with Dr. Alan Parent for soreness in one of my eyes. Dr. Parent himself was fantastic. Unfortunately his office took 3 days to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy here in Michigan where I live. They didn't get filled until after I left town. I asked them to send the prescription to the state I was visiting, and they sent a different medication there from the medication they sent to the pharmacy in Michigan. When I called and asked for my doctor to clarify which medicine I should be taking, they refused to put the doctor on the phone. They told me I could come back in, when all I need is a 30 second clarification from the doctor, they clearly just want to charge my insurance again. They even indicated to me that they won't even ask the doctor to call me, or inform him that I reached out. Causing me to go over a week in discomfort without my medication, and I will now have to find a different doctor/office to treat the original issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Update: Saw a different doctor from a different practice and they recommended I not take the medication the office staff at Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan insisted I should take out of the two they had sent to my pharmacy. This office staff's over confidence and desire to bill my insurance caused delayed treatment and almost caused me to take the incorrect medication.

This place was the best. Everyone was super nice extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable. They even got me in the same day I called. I wasn't sure what was going on with my eye, but it had swelled up. They took care of me right away and even worked with my insurance Since I wasn't able to get a referral that fast. I appreciate them so much and I healed up very quickly and pain-free. Thank you so much for the doctor and all of the staff for their help!

The only problem I have with going here is that it takes so long. Many of the rooms or "closets " have one machine and there are several to go into for different things. I don't understand why a room couldn't be big enough to hold everything and all tests done at once. Other than the wait time and length of visit I'm happy with the care I received.

All the people who work there are quick efficient and friendly. Dr.parent is a very thorough Dr. I highly recommend him and his office in warren.

I was treated nicely and friendly by everyone (from receptionist to nurses to Dr. Alan Parent). My appointment was timely and everything explained in detail. Overall, I had a great experience thanks to Dr. Parent and his staff.

Cataract and Eye Consults of Michigan is an excellent medical group. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the medical staff is the best. They really listen to the patient and go the extra step to help. I highly recommend them.
