They were extremely diligent, patient, and took the time to provide comprehensive answers to all my inquiries. I felt genuinely valued and cared for throughout the entire process. The appointment with the doctor itself was great.
Unfortunately, what happened afterward was not. I was given a prescription that did not include my pupillary distance (PD). When I later called to ask about it, I was told my PD had not been measured, could not be measured even if I returned, and could not be provided. I was instead advised to measure it myself online (i.e., use a less accurate self-measurement).
After searching through my patient portal, I found that my binocular PD had in fact already been measured and documented in the exam notes. This isn't about policy - it's about being given incorrect and contradictory information about a basic, standard measurement that already existed. It wasted time and broke trust, and would've led me to purchase glasses using the wrong PD.
