The staff was fast and efficient. They were able to get me in the same day for an exam and glasses. Bobby had the patience of a saint as I tried on 1 million different pairs, gave me space to debate & input when asked. The pricing was up front, shared features, knew my insurance coverages, no pressure to add features, but gave me options. Great experience thanks to Bobby in Woodhaven.

I've been coming here for years. Ladies are always super nice and friendly. My favorite is Megan she's super helpful with picking out frames and even remembers the small details I like with my glasses. It's a nice feeling to have that bond!

Megan was AMAZING today. The glasses that I got last month from another location were too big for my face and kept sliding down. She got me into the correct size glasses for me so they don't slide. Thank you. You are AMAZING!!

I would like to say me and my wife had a very good experience from start to finish. Angela at the front greeted us and assisted getting us checked in with filling out all the documents properly. I then met Dr Wintman, who was very friendly and explained in detail my exam process. When he completed the exam I was taken to Diane optometrist technician who helped in selecting frames, measuring, and explaining my options on my new glasses. I would like to thank the team for giving me a very good no nonsense experience.

The staff here is wonderful! Dr Wintman is a great optometrist and very caring. Angela has helped us pick out frames and options for more than 15 years (previous location was on Van Horn). They have a great selection of frames to choose from. The only thing I don't like is the new location which is why I knocked a star off. I don't know what the owner was thinking. The handicapped parking is in a dumb location and there's no parking near the door-which really should have a "push to open" plate on it IMHO-and the parking lot itself is a madhouse. I know the previous building was old and in a less busy place but the new location is aggravating. If it wasn't for the superlative staff I would go elsewhere. If you can get past the idiotic setup I would highly recommend.

Angela at the front desk is a extremly rude person...a different employee rescheduled my eye exam.. when I go in she immediately tells me I cancelled it?? I didn't cancel anything, your people at the store messed up.. then she has a attitude cause they now have a double 8am booking, not my fault.. She seemed pissed off when I was asking simple questions about insurance and was mad I didn't have a insurance card, it's under vsp...do your job and look it up,some companies don't give u a eye vision card. Her extremely unprofessional attitude made me see red ...I will NEVER step foot in this Woodhaven location ever again... do yourself a favor and go to the Southgate store in Meijers parking lot on fort street..way better customer service experience....I almost walked out and called Southgate for a new appointment...if you are that miserable, retire.. treating a customer with a attitude,when asking simple questions was uncalled for. The doctor mr.Whitman basically just repeated a 4 year old eye prescription??? Very fast eye exam and now I'm kinda worried , shouldn't there be a "tweeking up " on the eye exam ? He gives me a trial pair and each eye has a slightly different number ... I go home and look at my old box of lenses and he reversed my left and right eye? Thank god I kept the old boxes...Stay away from this location... I'm calling Southgate to see if repeating a 4 year old eye exam to the "tee" is normal... think this doctor just blasts people thru the exam to get them outta there ...I was in the exam room at Southgate for at least 40 minutes..
