Dr. Schaefer is a trusted wonderful doctor and person. He is one that actually care about people as there are very few that do these days. I initially went to OVO in St. Louis Park and misinformed that I should immediately get cataract surgery. Please beware of OVO because they're out to make money and don't really care about their patients. I researched doctors that perform cataract surgeries to get another opinion and I am so happy research found Dr. Schaefer to be one of the best. Dr. Schaefer took the time and care to explain the pros and cons of getting surgery now versus waiting until I've aged a little more for beneficial purposes. I thought that the young lady that took the pictures of my eyes was vary kind and knew exactly what she was doing. She kept me advised what she was doing each step of the process. Dr Stephen's was really professional and likewise was easy to talk to and he explained the entire process and what I could expect in each step of the process as well as the costs of what level of lenses that I wanted to choose. The entire process was good and comfortable for me.

Dr. Schaefer has been my reliable eye Doctor for several years. He is polite and comfortable to talk to and consistently gives me professional results and suggestions. I even recommend my wife to see him with any eyes related issues and my wife also says good things about his professional approach and knowledge too. Thank you Dr. Schaefer for you do.

Over the weekend experienced an eye issue that needed attention. Called TC Eye Consultants and they got me in Monday to meet with Dr Scott Schaefer, and underwent a thorough examination. Dr Schaefer was friendly / kind / professional and able to quickly resolve my concerns. Felt very comfortable that my treatment was exactly what I needed. I was experiencing swelling and pain in my right eyelid. I actually got a same-day appointment with the ophthalmologist I see. Amazing! He reassured me that the problem was common and would get better on its own. It was very reassuring! Excellent care!

I went in for a cataract consultation. The front desk was very welcoming and considerate. The nurse/assistant was very knowledgeable and informative. Dr. Schaefer was very patient and explained what was going on with my sudden loss of my clear vision. He also explained my future options and procedures that would remedy my situation. By the time I left I felt all bases had been covered and all I had to do was make a decision and schedule the surgery. I was given a contact number and email for any remaining questions that I might have and upon emailing got a quick response to my questions (nice for a change to have somebody promptly get back to you), thanks Jane. Very professional; made you feel at ease by explaining what the operation entails and what to expect before and after surgery, very thorough. His team was also the best; they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They even gave me a snack after surgery because I told them I was starving!

I experienced an opthamologic emergency while traveling. No other offices had appointments on this past Friday. Twin Cities Eye Consultants actually booked my appointment for the same day. The staff was extremely courteous and Dr. Kevin Jund was prompt and took really good care of me. As a fellow healthcare professional, I applaud and I am thankful to the entire staff!!!
