Focused Eye Care

I haven't had an eye exam in 20 years. But their staff made me feel comfortable. They where personnel, easy to talk, it was like talking to old friends. Made the experience more enjoyable. It didn't feel like you were at the doctor's office. I would recommend this place for anyone that would rather feel like they are visiting a friend than a doctor.

Dr. Sollum is awesome, I've been seeing him for over 10yrs. 5 stars! But purchasing glasses here is tough. I just left without ordering a pair of $420 Gucci frames after standing around trying on glasses for 90 min, by myself. In that time, not ONE sales person greeted me, not even to say, "hey welcome in, we have appts til (x) but I'd love to help you after, or would you like to make an appt?" I made eye contact with all salespeople several times. I asked one for a lens cleaning cloth and she acted like I was an inconvenience. After narrowing down to 2 frames, and standing around forever, I finally tried to ask the receptionist for her opinion for me, as I was alone. She wouldn't even grant me an opinion! "I'm not an optician I can't help with that". I had to take pictures of myself in the mirror so I could SEE the frames on me because my vision is so bad without correction. I finally just left, when the remaining sales people were just busy having personal conversations with their customers. Not one person even said goodbye or thanks for coming in. Wild! Maybe I didn't look like I could afford what I was holding? I don't know. But I won't be back to find out.

I saw Dr. Schorn and can't recommend him enough. It was my first time going to this clinic. I've been getting required annual eye exams for almost eight years, and I've never had an eye doctor who helped me understand exactly what they're looking for and what they're trying to make sure isn't happening so I can safely continue taking a certain medication. He showed me the actual 3-D scans of my eyes and explained everything in a way that was so easy to understand. He truly took his time explaining what he was looking for and that meant a lot to me. I walked away feeling informed. My daughter was seen by Dr. Nestrud in August as well. My husband went with her and also shared a similar experience. Dr Nestrud was also very helpful. This will absolutely be our go-to clinic for all of our eye care needs from now on.

Great service, nice atmosphere. During the exam, the doctor explained everything very nicely and answered all my questions I had. It's a great place to pick out glasses when you're unsure, they have a ton of different styles. And they're very patient with you.If you are having a hard time picking out one, I know I was there for a long time until I found the right glasses for me.

Very happy with the care we've received. We left our last eye doctor 10 years ago because the doctor dilated my 12 year old's eyes without asking me this place is very respectful and really, really good with small children!! Our 3 year old had her 2nd visit here recently.

They were amazingly helpful and accommodating as I had just had a knee replacement 2 days prior and couldn't move around very well. They offered me multiple options and got me out the door with new contacts and glasses for a reasonable price.

Focused Eye Care got us in for an emergency appointment super quickly when my son got hit in the eye with a rock. The staff were great with him, took time to thoroughly look at his eye to assess damage, explained what to expect, and even gave him a reward for being so brave. I appreciated the professionalism as well as caring approach they had.
