Costco Optical Department

I had my prescription from my eye doctor but was looking for more affordable glasses, and Andrea at Costco's Eye Department was incredible. She patiently walked me through what my insurance would cover and explained how the styles and sizing were organized among the sample glasses. She encouraged me to take my time and let her know if I had any questions, which made the process feel completely stress-free. I found two pairs I liked, but the price sounded too good to be true, so I asked her to double-check. Andrea carefully reviewed everything with my insurance, and sure enough, she was correct. She was not only knowledgeable but also personable and genuinely committed to helping me. On top of that, I had some sunglasses from another provider that never fit properly, even after their adjustments. I brought them to help me avoid getting something like that again. I didn't ask Andrea to do anything with them, but she went above and beyond--adjusting them multiple times until they fit perfectly. I was honestly shocked by the effort she put in to make sure I left happy. Andrea made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. I can't recommend Costco Optical or her enough!

This was my first time using Costco Optical for any eye care needs. Dr. Rafael Borges was awesome! He was the most thorough optometrist I've ever been to, and I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid. He was very approachable and explained things in full detail. Would definitely see again in the future. When it came to picking out frames, the floor manager, Jodi, was awesome as well. She was the first person to explain to me what mm size frames fit well on my face and gave me an honest low down on what to expect as a first time bifocal wearer. She helped me make informed decisions while she juggled all the activity going on around the area. Great experience! Lastly, what knocked me out was the final price of everything. I got two different pairs of prescription transition bifocals for HALF of what I would pay for ONE PAIR of regular prescription glasses. I'm not going anywhere else from now on.

I was a walk in, just to order glasses. A kind gentleman told me about the different sections and answered my questions about bifocals. After I picked out my glasses, he helped me order them and gave me some good information about Costco glasses. Very kind and quick ordeal - overall, very pleased. I'll be coming back and recommend this place to others!

Very happy to get my glasses from here after getting eyes checked out at OMC after a diabetic screening. Was able to get help and explanation on various features. I was able to get my glasses and some prescription sunglasses ordered. Only took roughly a week and was able to pick them up. So far no issues just getting used to wearing glasses. First time user.

Tried twice to use VSP benefits to buy glasses here. Staff couldn't figure out insurance details and were unapologetic.

I am a very angry customer. My daughter HAD an appointment today at the Costco Optical store. It took a couple of months to plan the appointment due to scheduling because she attends college 4 hours away. So, my daughter drives 4 hours in order to go to this appointment. We were 12 minutes late because of snow and ice on the roads. When we arrived at the Costco optical store, we were told that her appointment was canceled because their cut off time is 10 minutes!!! I explained why we were late and she said " no, do you want to reschedule"? I believe the doctor was still with a patient and we probably would have had to wait anyway. I will NEVER go back to this Optical store AND I will tell others about the bad service we received. We then went to Sam's Club Optical the same day and received EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! Yaaay Sam's Club!!!!

These employees in the optical department are so nice, helpful and friendly. So glad I switched. They make you feel valued. Love you!

After coming here plenty of times we have always had excellent service and wonderful people! BUT today we encountered a woman named Gae. I have never seen or met a more rude person in my life. She asked my husband if he has ever ordered glasses here before and he replied "yes" she asked for his phone number and the second he didn't pop up she turned into the most rude individual. She then asked "well what number could they be under?" And he thought "oh maybe my mothers" he then gave his mothers number and she replied "I do not need or care about your mothers prescription. I am looking for yours. Why on earth would we care about your mothers prescription. This is not what I asked for." Didn't give him a second to even explain himself. Just extremely rude. I'm not usually one to make reviews. But I just couldn't sit here and let her get away with her attitude. Oooh eee super rude.
