The staff at Rochester Family Eye Clinic make me feel comfortable and don't pressure me into any services or products I don't need/want. Dr. Melissa Downs does a wonderful job explaining each test, and she worked with me to find the right contacts. All around, it's a good fit for my family's eye care needs.

We are always greeted with enthusiasm by the office staff, and the opticians and technicians are pleasant, courteous, and professional. The clinic is equipped with up-to-date diagnostic equipment. Dr. Bryan Johnson has been our optometrist since 1989. He understands our special eye problems, and takes as much time as necessary to explain the tests, results, and treatment options. Rochester Family Eye Clinic is great! They are professional and still very friendly. I left Rochester Family Eye Clinic for a while and then found myself wanting to go back there mainly because I enjoy having my check ups with Dr. Downs.

Dr. Bryan Johnson has taken care of my wife Linda's and my eyes for many years and has always been wonderful. Also, everyone at Rochester Family Eye Clinic has warmly greeted us and fitted us with fine eye ware and promptly helped when we needed repairs and re-fittings due to wear and tear.

Dr. Melissa Downs is fabulous! When our insurance no longer covered Rochester Family Eye Clinic I still kept going there. She is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what I need for the best eye care.

I stepped on my glasses, bending the frames and popping out the lenses. I walked in to Rochester Family Eye Clinic and they fixed them on the spot! No charge. Subsequently I had an eye exam there, and investigated several options for getting new glasses (with continuous bifocals, scratch and glare resistant). I was surprised to discover that Rochester Family Eye Clinic, with my EyeMed discount, offered better quality frames than the supposedly cheaper competitors and the entire package was the same price. Why go anywhere else? This is a complete one-stop-shop for eye care.

I have been coming here for years. They offered an informational meeting many years ago about laser corrective surgery that was done at Gunderson in LaCrosse with follow up appointments at Rochester Family Eye Clinic. This was my first experience with them and I have been going here ever since. I did have the corrective surgery done at Gunderson in Jan. 2003. and still have near perfect vision! They have great staff and are always friendly and upbeat!!!

I would highly recommend Rochester Family Eye Clinic for your eye appointment. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for any of my tests and Dr. Downs explained everything she was doing in the testing room. Great experience!
