Sam's Club Optical Center

I had a horrible experience in which I left before they started the actual exam. The employee who was about to do my exam did not seem very confident in her abilities. The first thing she did that bothered me was coughing excessively nearby and then sniffing her nose every time she took a breath, she finally went in to blow her nose in the next room, but I observed her and she did not wash her hands afterwards. She also introduced herself to me twice as if she had forgotten she did the first time. She then proceeded to tell me it would cost an extra $20 to take a picture of the back of my eye, I have never had to pay an extra $20 for anyone to look in the back of my eye before, I agreed to it given my age of 65, I thought it would be important. She went into another room to set up the camera, she wasn't there long and had to go out and get some help to do that. I was starting to feel anxious at this point like I didn't wanna go through with this, but also didn't wanna be rude or make anyone feel bad. Finally She sat me down at her machine and was about to start and then threw her hands in the air and said, "oh that's right I almost forgot to do your contact exam" At that point I stood up and said, I'm not feeling very good about this, it doesn't feel right to me" and I left! Terrible experience without Getting as far as having the actual exam
