The staff are always friendly and helpful from checking you in to leaving your appointment. Dr. Wu is very personable and makes you feel comfortable. He answered all of my questions and was fast and definitely efficient, he's a firecracker lol! I had to say it! Somebody did! Wonderful place to go for all of your eye care needs!

Dr. Schwartz at Associated Eye Care performed my cataract surgery at Valley Surgery Center in Hudson and everything was superb. The surgery team is like a well oiled machine from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Dr. Schwartz is always very pleasant and professional and my eyes are now so much better I may only need readers in the future as my distance vision is great. I highly recommend AEC.

I had a severe cataract in one eye and a regular one in the other. I wanted to expedite getting both done due an upcoming change in health insurance. They got both done in 4 weeks and the process was smooth and easy. All of the staff were great and the anesthesiologist was perfect. She was not much older than me but has a grandmother personality that assures you all will go fine. It's was a great experience.

Brought my 11 year old in for his first professional eye exam. The staff was so friendly, supportive and helpful! They helped us understand the difference between adult and child exams. The gal who helped my son pick a pair of glasses was so kind and hyped my son up when he was as trying on different lenses. It helped the process of introducing him to his first pair! He's excited to be getting his first pair of glasses now! Highly recommend the team at Associated Eye Care in Woodbury!

My visit to Associated Eye Care in Woodbury was a very pleasant experience beginning with smiling and engaging FD staff who confirmed my appointment and processed my HIPPA forms. Easy peezy! Within minutes one of the certified ophthalmic assistants, Alecia, greeted me and cheerfully led the way to my exam room and proceeded with the intake queries in re: current complaint, present medical history, medications, known allergies and a quick review of my family history. She performed a very thorough check of my vision both near and far, EOM check, refractometry, tonometry, and dilation. All tests and measurements were done in an orderly and concise fashion. When my eyes were adequately dilated, Dr. Wu greeted me and introduced his accompanying scribe and proceeded to review Alecia's report before conducting the SL exam and indirect ophthalmoscopy. A brief review of my ocular condition was discussed and reviewed as healthy and potential surgery was discussed for near future scheduling. I was very comfortable in the conduct of this exam and had ample opportunities to ask questions and felt well informed by both Alecia and Dr. Wu's answers. My experience was that this is a very patient oriented clinic staffed by knowledgeable assistants and caring professionals. I would highly recommend AEC to any one seeking the kind of care that I experienced.

I've been using Associated Eye Care for over 25 years and have received their care in different cities/offices and via multiple doctors (I've moved often!). In each case the experience has been excellent. My current provider is in Maplewood and they are the best I've had; efficient, friendly, and super competent. I have a few unusual eye issues (I'm 72 and that comes with the territory) and these guys are terrific about explaining everything and what to worry about and what not to. I couldn't be happier with them!

After having vision problems over the years, I needed to have a deeper assessment of my eye problems. Glasses haven't been the total solution and I didn't feel the retailers had the tools to find the issues. After my first visit, I was assured that Associated Eye Care had the tools, skilled personnel and facilities to get the kind of help I needed. They identified several ways to get my vision back and layer out a plan to accomplish that. The doctor/surgeon explained in plain language ways I could understand. I'm currently on the path to a better view.

I just recently had Dr. Wu remove the cataract from my right eye. He did a great job. Only having my right eye done so far has made such a big difference. I am very pleased.
