I recently had LASIK surgery with Dr. Wexler, and I'm incredibly happy with how everything went. Dr. Wexler, a highly skilled and professional surgeon with many years of experience, worked his magic performing the surgery after thoroughly answering all my questions and addressing every concern I had. The surgery itself was painless, with only minimal discomfort, and looking back, I wish I had done it years ago instead of waiting so long. A special thank to Leo, who conducted the pre-surgery testing and provided invaluable support throughout the entire process. He was also present during the procedure, assisting Dr. Wexler with the technical aspects and offering calming reassurance that made the experience much less stressful. Had a great experience with the doctor Wexler. I was very nervous going into it and he helped calm the nerves to make it very easy going. The procedure was very quick and almost painless. He told me everything to expect after the procedure and everything that he told me to expect happened, and now it is the next day and no pain, and i see pretty darn good for being 14 hrs after the procedure.

From the consultation with Dr. Polk to the surgery and aftercare with Dr. Wexler, the process at WashU LASIK has been phenomenal. Everyone in the office is so professional and kind. Dr. Wexler talked me through each step throughout the surgery, which took less than 15 minutes. I went in with 20/400 vision and came out with 20/15 the next day. I would recommend Dr. Wexler to anyone I know.

Despite having dry eye syndrome, I found the entire LASIK journey to be extremely smooth at Wash U LASIK. The initial assessment process was thorough, and I appreciated Dr. Polk advising me to resolve my dry eye issues and to wait at least two months to avoid negative side effects. Once my dry eye syndrome was stabilized, I was able to move forward. Surgery day was shockingly easy. The whole team was supportive, and I felt completely prepared when going in for the procedure. Dr. Wexler guided me through every step, which kept me very at ease. My vision is better than 20/20 now! I have had some fluctuating blurry vision due to dryness, but now being almost 3 months out, this has largely resolved with my cornea healing. I highly recommend Wash U LASIK--Dr. Polk and Dr. Wexler are a great team and will take wonderful care of you!
