Best optometrist and optical in the KC metro area! Dr. Hawk and team are amazing!

This place was unable to accommodate a single mother who has 3 kids and can't make the appointment available all on the same day. Never had an issue and I am a mother who is not always able to take off 3 days just to be seen for 3 different appointments. Very unhappy with this place

Dr. Hawk is totally awesome. Diana is the BEST. I have been going there yearly for about 4-5 years. Dr. Hawk caught a problem with my eyes & sent me to a specialist, that no one else had caught, and it was taken care of. Diana is spot on with every pair I have purchased she has an eye (no pun intended) for what looks good on people. I say people because she has helped me with every pair of glasses I have purchased there & now my husband just got his first pair of glasses ever & I had him go to Diana & he has his glasses & he looks fantastic! He is totally satisfied! I highly recommend Dr. Hawk & Diana. For what its worth I am a person who tells it like it is & that is where we will continue to do business because of the professionalism, care, customer service, and great atmosphere! Victoria & Brad

I came to see Dr. Hawk for my first visit after having new insurance and my eye doctor being out of network. My experience was great, Dr. Hawk answered every question I had, as well as explained to me things my old Eyecare provider of 5 years never did. I will say I was a little hesitant about going here after reading some of the reviews, but staff is very friendly! Jill was very kind and so was the girl who checked me out, wish I would of gotten her name. Overall very pleased with every aspect of my visit. Dr. Hawk is very knowledgeable and informative, highly recommend!!

I am giving it two stars as the situation is still happening, maybe another. My wife was happy with the staff. Not very happy because my wife just called after being told it was two weeks for my daughters glasses, and not hearing a single thing from them. They returned our call and told me that they are at the "mercy of the lab" and don't have control over their finishing process. So now we have to wait another week (supposedly 3 weeks now) before we can get our daughters glasses. I would have been nice to be kept informed of the situation. If we knew it was going to be so long for the glasses we would have gone to Costco or somewhere we have had better and consistent success.

I was very pleased with the service I received here. The staff were all polite and helpful. The provider took her time with me and gave me a thorough exam. The staff were helpful in assisting me in picking out glasses. The price of my glasses was a little steep, but they were willing to work with me on prices, and even offered me a discount. I will definitely be back!

Dr. Hawk is AMAZING, explained everything I needed to know about my vision very well. I am giving a 3 stars rating only because Jill(I think that's her name) failed to schedule my eye contacts training even after Dr. Hawk told her I needed training. I have a busy schedule so this is very inconvenient for me only because she "forgot".

I vacated my eye appointment after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. The women working were either rude or stand offish. The energy was negative. So I left with the intention of visiting a new place. I called to retrieve my axis numbers. Not my entire prescription, only my axis numbers. I was told I was not able to obtain that information due to the hippa law, which I feel was a lie. Thank you for wasting my time EE.
