I saw Dr Sawyer in the office and I was very well cared for by her. She was thorough in her examination and was able to give me some helpful information. She provided explanations that I could understand and made a referral to a specialist within the Sabates group. It is also worth noting that Hunter, the ophthalmic medical assistant, was friendly and knowledgeable as well. Both Hunter and Dr Sawyer made for a beneficial and pleasant appointment.

I called and got an appointment the same day. I was met by a friendly and personable receptionist. After a very brief wait, I was greeted by Alex, a medical technician, who was also personable and professional.

Yearly checkup, have double vision requiring prisms. No correction on my prescription, went back and they added prism info. Got glasses and they were wrong. Had to go back. Jessica Sawyer OD checked my eyes and changed the new prescription. Hopefully new glasses will be right. She was more concerned than the other doctor was. He seemed to be in a hurry and I wasn't happy with him.

I was so afraid of the cataract surgery because I knew they would have to stick a needle in my eye. The anstesiologist told me I wouldn't even remember it. I told him I bet I would... Well... He was right. Whatever he put in my IV did the trick. I know Nothing about them even sticking a needle in my eye. Thank God for the tiniest miracles he has given us! ... Thank you Sabates and Epic Surgery for being able to perform this kind of surgery so us older people can enjoy seeing again. Now waiting for my other eye to have the surgery done!
Dr Cassel was my surgeon and I'd recomend him to anyone who needs this surgery. He has a wonderful caring staff that will take the time to make sure they have answered all of your questions so you know what to expect before, during, and after the surgery. They're a great team!
