Had a great experience getting my eyes examined along with getting new contacts. The whole team from check in to check out was extremely friendly and helpful! All of my questions and concerns were answered thoroughly and I was also able to get a pair of glasses at a discount with being a Sam's Club Plus member that I was unaware of. I highly recommend swinging by and having your eyes examined with this team. Very kind and helpful, every one of them! Great experience! Thank you!

Not very happy with customer service. Made an appointment a month in advance only to show up for them to tell me that they couldn't verify my insurance. It was a Saturday and insurance office is closed so we couldn't call. Why wait until the day of my appointment to tell me this? Verification should have happened way before my appointment and it would have given me options if I had known earlier. On top of that, the old lady at the desk including the older man didn't seem at all apologetic about it. Your customer service is lacking!

My child & I both see Dr. Elizabeth Crowley on a yearly basis.
She is truly the best eye doctor I have found over the years.
She explains & takes her time with me & my daughter. Very detailed & thoroughly explains throughout the exam. My daughter feels very comfortable every year. This will be our 3 rd year returning to see her.
We also purchase at least 4 pair of yearly. 2 for me & 2 for my daughter.
The staff is amazing as well.

My wife and I made a appointment and everything went smooth. They were very busy and was able to handle every one with no problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was problem the BEST eye doctor I have ever been to. She explained everything very clear and in words I could understand.

I don't often write comments but I felt I needed this said. The employees at the Independence Optical Center are exceptional people! O.T. goes above and beyond!! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Crowley! She provided me with the most comprehensive examination I've had in the last 35 years! Her communication skill's are outstanding! She let's you know what she's doing and why she's doing it. She include's the client in the whole process which let me know she respected my input. Her follow up is quite exceptional!! I thank you all!!

Absolutely pathetic! The ?doctor? told me my granddaughter needed to be referred to Children's Mercy for a brain scan following her eye exam. We chose instead to have her seen by an eye specialist in Columbia who reported the tests performed by the ?doctor? at Sam's Club were outdated and some should not have been done 3 times during the same visit.

He was the worst dr ive ever experienced...i left in tears. I had detached retina surgery and my right eye is -10..but i still have vision in that eye...if he cant use the machine to detect your prescription...he will be mean to you and tell you he cant help you...worthless...why did you do all that school your assistants can do that
