Walmart Vision & Glasses

Olivia here was amazing. My teenager had a contacts appt and she was so patient and graceful when teaching her how to use contacts for the first time. She and the rest of the staff who assisted were helpful and knowledgeable, and we were very appreciative of their services offered here.

I have never needed an appointment where we live the Walmart off Boldger Drive is amazing. Everytime I just walk right in and they help me out, of course I usually alright had my eye exam somewhere else but I always get my glasses at walmart

I love walmart vision center in Independence Missouri on Bolger Drive. I have gotten the very best service and very quality glasses at very reasonable prices. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and very professional and very friendly. I just can't say anything but good about this vision center.

The Walmart Vision Center was a new in-network provider for materials with my new vision insurance. I decided to give them a try, and they did not disappoint! It was a hurdle to get the most of my benefits I pay for through insurance though, all however were NOT a Vision Center issue. I called the insurance and confirmed my benefits before arriving at the store. The manager, Kris, called to verify eligibility and benefits and was told something different than I was previously told. I brought a print out of my vision benefits with me and he understood and wanted to make sure I was getting my benefits used correctly. Another employee, Kyle, took my many phone calls and always was so respectful and patient. He tried to contact my insurance company too, and couldn't even speak to a representative. Needless to say, this new insurance is a PAIN, but the Vision Center was so great to work with. I went there on a Wednesday, then Thursday, and by Saturday, things were figured out. Not without the help and patience of Kris, Kyle, and Ericka. Kyle was the one I settled up with and he was informative, professional, and knowledgeable. Do not hesitate to try Independence, Kansas Walmart Vision Center!!

I've been trying to get a appointment all summer for my daughter, finally got through and got a appointment before school starts! Great! Only they called 2 days before the appointment to cancel and now I have to start all over and the next place can't get us in until September! My daughter is walking around half blind. Walmart vision center is a joke.

Worst service ever, and i have been wearing glasses and contacts forever so i thought it would be an easy and fast procedure. WRONG! i came to walmart thinking about prices and how they were much lower compared to others. The dr never acknowledged my astigmatism, she never gave me options, nor asked me what kind of contacts i preferred knowing i did have options. Given my contacts and glasses once i tried them on the prescription was way off! I had to go to another optical to get it right after seeing another customer yelling at Julie for the same reason and how poorly she handled it. I came back thinking she would change it but instead blamed it on me. NEVER AGAIN! Worst dr!

If I could give zero stars I would. I was running late for my sons appointment, less than 15 minutes. Most doctors would've still seen him. We walk in and the employees are standing around as usual. The oldest one of them immediately started shaking her head, and said oh she's not going to be able to see you. About this time the "Doctor" walks up shaking her head. Sorry I have another appointment I won't be able to see him she says. The place was empty other than he employees. No one even asked if I would like to reschedule the appointment. I had shopping to do which took 20-30 minutes and when I went back by guess what the place was still empty. What a joke! I will never go to their vision center again!

Julie was so helpful, even though it got complicated w a needed insurance authorization after the insurance company's hours. She got what she needed from us and called the next day confirming she got the auth. Really appreciated it!
