5 stars for Barbara! I had a wonderful experience at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses (10127 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114). I ran into an issue with my new glasses where the outside lab used showed a significant lack of quality craftsmanship. Barbara was absolutely incredible in helping me resolve these issues. She was patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. She worked diligently to ensure everything was corrected to my satisfaction. Truthfully, above my expectations. I understand that the problem was with the lab, not the local store. Regardless, Barbara took ownership of the situation to ensure I was taken care of. Fantastic customer service--if you go in, ask for Barbara! I am very happy with her assistance in correcting the issues with my glasses.

Wonderful staff and an easy process! I came in for an eye exam; needing new glasses, eye health check, and a contact lens script. The price was reasonable with a deal for 2 glasses and exam for $95. Christie was phenomenal to work with, answered all my questions, kept making me laugh, and was just amazing! She made the process of getting new glasses so easy and dare i say fun!

I had an amazing experience here! The man at the front desk was very sweet and Barb was amazing! Everyone was so patient with me and made sure I got everything I wanted/needed!

I've been a customer at the location in KCMO, 103rd & State Line since 2019 and never had any problems until this visit, Aug 2025. What a disappointment, I tried for 4 months to get my order finished & correct! They were never able to complete all 3 pairs of glasses that I ordered. At the first PU, only 1 of 3 were correct, on the second visit I now had 2 of the 3 pairs correct. They were never able to complete the 3rd pair of glasses as they were not made correct, lost etc.... The real kicker is I spoke with the MOD on 11/17/25 about my needs and he was going to rush my correction/order. He didn't put the order in until 11/24/25! I received a text on 12/14/25 that the glasses were ready, glad he rushed my order...LOL I cancelled the order on 12/5/25 and will NOT be returning to this location!!!!! New doctors New help that is hurting the existing workers! Very disappointed!!!!! So I see there is a reply to communicate with their corporate email, this is a joke! I've already sent them an email 2 weeks ago with no management reply until today, really they don't care anymore more than this location !!!!!

Tried to get a form filled out with my prescription after going to another location. I was told by the Americas Best Service Team that any location could fill out this eye sight form. This location told me that the eye doctor would not complete it for me. Frustrated that a simple customer service point could not be met.

If there were 5 more stars above this rating, I would have selected them for this Awesome lady, Barbara at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses on State Line in Kansas City! She has a beautiful personality and exudes impeccable professionalism. I am truly satisfied with her service and would encourage everyone that needs assistance with their glasses, request for the Queen, Barbara! Thank you America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses!

The doctor that actually did the exam went extremely fast didn't really take the time to listen to my issue or what was going on with my eyes. The lady that did the first exam where they put the little poofs in your eye, even stated that the doctor goes extremely fast on his exams, but he's supposed to be good. Well good doctors listen to their patients. When I went up for my follow up, which let me add they never called me and told me my glasses were in so God only knows how long they've been sitting there. They went so fast I had to go back in before I even left the parking lot to have them adjusted to fix it and when I went in my second pair of glasses, he said I've done the best I can. I can't fix anything else. I will not be going back to this place. This place is rude. They're disrespectful. They don't pay attention to their customers and it's just a boom, boom, boom, boom boom they went in out and out and out they are not taking consideration none of the customers do not go to this place. I've been to two America's best if you need to go go over to the one on Westport Road on Mill Street and then I also had to go to one when I lived in Tennessee all amazing. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
