Costco Optical Department

I just want to take a second and thank Shaun/Sean/Shawn (sorry I don't know how to spell your name). 5 years ago I drove to KC and got blackout drunk. I lost my glasses and blindly drove here in hopes in getting some daily contacts to make my way back home. I was in a panic and desperate. Sean ended up empathizing with me and let me have two pairs. I still have the second pair to this day as a reminder (also because I slept with the first pair in, fearing that I may drop the second pair. Don't do what I did - I am a professional moron). Since that day, 5 years ago, I am still sober from alcohol. Sean's generosity and kindness are the basis of why I'm a Costco member to this day despite not even having a location from my home city. Thank you, Sean. I regret not writing this review all those days ago but better late than never. Wishing you prosperity and great health.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and have loved the service Denise has given to me! Every time I come in, she recognizes me and is so friendly and helpful. So many of my friends, family, and colleagues compliment my glasses and I do not hesitate to recommends this location and always tell them to ask for Denise!

Just wanted to share my great experience with Costco Optical at Linwood. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and patient, the glasses are top notch, and the service was incredibly efficient! I tried on so many frames I felt like a picture, and they were just so helpful, sharing options when asked and yet offering zero pressure for upgrades or anything else. Very affordable too. The ophthalmologist was nice but fit me incorrectly for my contact lenses. I trialed my exam at Costco thinking it would be easier and cheaper than ordering online. Costco requires you to come into the store to order and will not take the exam from the independent provider, literally in the same office. This is one of the few services that I would not recommend utilizing Costco for.

My fiancee got an eye exam and ordered glasses today and came home raving about her experience at Costco. She said that Dr. Ye was thorough and very helpful with explaining her vision concerns. After her appointment she went to try on frames and had an excellent experience with Irene. She explained the products they offered and the sizing of the frames. She was enthusiastic and extremely helpful. It was great to work with someone that takes so much pride in their job and executed it with so much enthusiasm.

This was single handedly the best eye doctor experience that I've ever had. The receptionist was exceptional. She was very friendly and did not require me to fill out pages and pages of paperwork even as a new patient. The optometrist was super nice and fast. She was willing to answer any and all questions and also provided me with a complimentary pair of my new contacts. I think I've found my forever eye doctor. I will definitely be back. Dr. Ye is such a blessing!!!!! I love her already.

Dr. Jing Ye is an AMAZING eye Doctor and person! I have never been more comfortable for an eye exam, she made it so easy. She really takes her time and answers all of the questions that you have and I really appreciate that. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything to you! It was a wonderful experience!! The lady at the front was also wonderful, very sweet and helpful!!

I have NEVER had an eye exam like Dr. Jing Ye. And I've always been the type that never actually wore her glasses because it would give me a headache when I would but it had been 10+ years and I knew it was time to get an exam. My husband and I went in to get the exams and WOW. We had never had such a comfortable, explanatory, and thorough exam like that. So much so that she gave my husband 2 prescriptions; 1 for driving and everyday and one for working (sports and on the field) and my husband even says that both are so distinct but so perfect for each activity. She's truly amazing and knowledgeable and I CANNOT stop raving about her to everyone I know who wears glasses and May need an exam soon.
