I wish that everyone could experience the level of customer service that Rand and Janeel Smith have given us at eyeSmith over the years. These folks go out of their way to make sure every step of the buying experience is seamless. Their incredible knowledge on all types of eyewear, styles, materials and lenses is just remarkable. This is the place for the best quality eyewear in Kansas City. We were in this week to have new lenses put into my frames when we realized the frames I was having them work on were over 10 years old!! I purchased them from eyeSmith originally and had worn them every day. That's the kind of quality you get there. We've just been incredibly impressed for a long time and wanted to leave a review. If you want the most unique glasses and the best quality, this is the place.

Just bought my second set of lenses for my same OVVO frames, which have lasted me 7 years, which means the lenses live up to advertised rugged quality. (They survived years of abuse and misuse, and are just now becoming unpleasant to look through if not still absolutely functional) Quick professional and speedy service every time, all the time if I need an adjustment or a cleaning. They are all fantastic and knowledgable, Kevin is fantastic, hes my bro. Finances willing, I will never go back to another store for Eyewear. The only thing I wish they had was their own optometrist, but they are still perfect as they are.

The frames and lenses sold at EyeSmith are really, really nice. Plan to spend more time looking at options and being fitted for eyeglasses if you go to this shop. The staff that work there are 1 on 1 and very helpful in the process. If you want to try on a particular frame that is not on display, they can have it ordered in for a small fee (that acts as a deposit and can be applied to your payment if you purchase eyeglasses there). They were able to have a pair fabricated and sent in from a company in Japan within just a couple weeks for me. Rand made sure the frame fit me comfortably before recording the measurements for how the lenses would be shaped to match my pupil position and prescription. I wanted a digital lens, and they were able to order this also. Once the lenses came in, Kevin cut and installed them in house. Compared to the eyeglasses I had before, this pair from EyeSmith blows them out of the water. Rand, Janeel, and their staff are knowledgeable and take pride in their work and what they sell. Most of the eyeglasses at EyeSmith are pricy, but the end product is not something one will find at a big box discount eyeglasses store.

Had glasses repaired for my dad. I was amazed at how easy the whole process was. The owner and staff were so friendly! I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I really enjoy and appreciate glasses. Never have I ever been at a place that meets my standards like this. I will be going back here from here on out. You get great people who are also excited about glasses when you come here. If you are really into glasses then you should be making this your main source. Kevin started with me and did and awesome job, and I also worked with April, it was seamless. You can tell these people are doing top notch work, and for that, they will be getting a repeat customer for as long as they exist. Even just to look around, just walk in and check it out, they have stuff that you haven't seen elsewhere I'm guarunteeing it. They are worth your time, no matter what you've got going on with glasses. I sincerely hope this business does not go anywhere. The best choice in this city for glasses and sunglasses, bar none.

My experience was amazing. There was no waiting you were meet and asked what we were looking for we were not pressured into buying expensive glasses but what was our price range.. The women working with us Explained that the lenses in all the glasses were good. The lenses were much like the camera lense, very precise. She took time with us showing glasses in our price range, they even had some of the discontinued pricey frames at a much discounted price, which is what I chose . The measurement for my glasses unlike anything I had ever experienced,
Before using a computer app to make it perfect.
The only complaint I have is my own fault and that was with the coating to make them change into sun glasse, I picked the green color and isn't dark enough I should have gone darker. Live and learn.
I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for new glasses.

I recently lost a favorite pair of glasses while traveling to London. While still traveling, I reached out to the EyeSmith. They were able to find the frames and hold them for me!! As they had all the info on file, new lenses were made and I had the replacement glasses shipped to me in NYC.
This is a lovely local owned business that really cares about providing great service and quality products.
