Joni K. Laferla, OD

I've been going to Dr. LaFerla for about a decade now, and have nothing but incredibly positive to say. Exams, glasses, contacts, I've had everything done through the office and have had great experiences for all of them. In my most recent annual exam, the imaging / Dr. LaFerla caught something of concern. I was able to follow up and be seen by neurologists and recently had surgery to fix the issue Dr. LaFerla initially noticed. She provided great support, and followed up with me along the way. So grateful to have an eye doctor who truly cares about her patients and their health.

Beyond grateful to Dr. LaFerla for taking our late night call and talking us through an emergency. She kindly came into the office on her day off to check out our child. Dr. LaFerla was so incredibly kind throughout the whole situation. When we brought our child in to see her our child was scared and not cooperating very well. Dr. was so patient talking and trying different techniques to see what she needed to see. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing an optometrist. The level of care we received after hours was way above and beyond my expectations!

We were visiting family in Kansas City MO for the holidays. My 12 yr old son was complaining of headaches the entire trip, each &!every time he had to put on his glasses. Dr. Joni Laferla could see that he was suffering & graciously offered to open her office early on a Saturday morning to give him a comprehensive exam. Turns out his prescription was way off & the root cause of his persistent strain. Brody ordered new Ray Ban frames for school & his first pair of Rx sunglasses too. They were shipped to NJ quickly & he is beyond thrilled with how wearing the correct prescription is finally comfortable and pain-free. Thx SO much - you went over & beyond!! You're a true professional. We'll be back next year for his annual exam.

So willing to work with their patients... one New Year's Eve I got an eye infection and went to see Dr Joni. She gave me her phone number and said "if it is still bothering you tomorrow , give me a call,.".. I said but it's New Years and she responded with "That's ok.. I just live around the corner".. the eye was fine but nice to know she would have helped if necessary.. also, Scott is her assistant and he has helped me numerous times with contact lens changes , and there have been many...always return phone calls and that is so important. Heather at the front desk always makes sure messages are received and taken care of if needed. If you're looking for an optometrist in the area this is the one!

If you're looking for a clean, friendly and knowledgeable eye center, look no further. I loved this office and the staff so much. From scheduling the appointment to picking up my prescription a week later the customer service was above 5 stars for me. Thank you so much Dr. Teresa Larcom!

These guys do a great job. Staff is well trained and on the ball. Dr. Joni Laferla is a great Optometrist! Highly recommended.

Love this place. Getting ready to move back to the area! I'll be in touch in the next few months. Can't wait to see Dr Jeff again... Great Guy and Great Doctor... See ya all soon!

I am always greeted with everyone so happy and wanting to work with you to get you to feel great about yourself when leaving. I have been going there for years and cant imagine ever leaving
